I've remastered "YOUR GOLD DRESS" using Chips from the Chocolate Fireball (an anthology) issued in 1987 on GEFFEN/Virgin by The Dukes of Stratosphear.

The visuals come from an assortment of sources.

This is the long version of "Sara" I've remastered, which was only available on CD through this collection until TUSK was digitally remastered not so long ago. TUSK on CD previously included the single edit of the song, which is a good 2 minutes shorter than the version that appeared on LP, to compact space and make the double album fit on one CD.

Now be forewarned.

This isn't a final version. And I'd really have to work with this song and achieving a level that is consistent with the rest of the album, because i kept turning this song down, down, down, reducing gain, volume, everything. And this song refuses to go down. Well, it does go down, but then it goes so quiet it's like i remastered nothing at all. So it's at this level because .. I don't know! It's a tricky song, and for the album's ballad, it's clearly the loudest song on Shake It Up by far.

I remastered this, simply by rubbing two sticks together, creating fire, then beckoning the gods of progressive contemporary rock to give me blessings. And popcorn.

This remaster was made by going against nature, which in itself, is part of nature, so I'm not really going against anything, I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. It's complicated.
