He would just sort of change the subject and do something else or play some video game that he knew I would like. He wouldn’t say anything; he would just do that to be like, ‘Oh! We’re just doing this now.’ Y’know, but I would know like, ‘This is not what you wanna do. You’re doing this because you knew it would cheer me up.’ And he didn’t have to say it, and I didn’t have to say it, and we would just do something else.”

This comic is based on a combination of my personal thoughts and experiences and Steven Universe Future’s plot. I’ve decided to binge watch the series from season 1 up to season 6 this quarantine season, and I didn’t think Steven Universe especially the last season would resonate with me a lot. I didn’t really grow up with the series like its’ audience since it was the time I got the busiest but I think I would never appreciate the series so much if I watched it when I was younger. So, I wanted to pour my energy into something different while also pouring down a piece of my honest thoughts I had these past few years. I won’t ask you to watch the series like I did but I hope you’ll find time to slow down, take care of yourself, and find your happiness. I’m not really good at writing so I’m sorry about that pffft, to the ones who read this what I consider “long” description, thanks to coming to my ted talk 👌 Take care 💫
