Star had always been quite afraid of the dark. It wasn’t the darkness itself that seemed to scare her but, rather, it was the things that lived in the darkness. Cuddling in closer to Marco, the blonde knew that she was safe with him. Her fears seemed silly with the boy by her side and the tension in her shoulders rolled away within seconds. “Who said I would ever want to push you away? Cuddling forever sounds like the best job in the world.” Star’s voice was merely a whisper into the night. She was afraid to disrupt the peace between them and so every movement she made was with the intention of being quiet, silent, a feather in the night. “I don’t want you to stop.” Star told him honestly. Her eyes burned with an intensity she only ever seemed to find herself feeling around Marco and after another moment she pressed her lips to his again. “I’m happy too. Too happy.” She whispered into the kiss, tightening her small fist against his shirt.
