50% done with the blanket
Merry Christmas to me. I have a new sock.
Fell in love with my friend's birthday hat, so I decided to make one for myself.
First, made a lot of progress on the sweater- finally divided the sleeves out and am working on the body. Second, I'm going to work a pattern I wrote called House Lace Socks, using a lace pattern from A Treasury of Knitting Patterns.
25% done with the blanket
Finished the socks!
Seattle yarn find- Seattle Sky in Space Needle and Sweet Georgia Tough Sock in Grouse and Smitten
Quick hat project for my best friend's neice
All ready to teach teens to knit!!
Took a class on curls. Very cool knitting technique!
Just when you say no more projects, a friend announces that they're expecting! A blanket is now in the works. Thankfully I have until April to finish.
Next sweater project!
Sweater complete. Should never have trusted the pattern dimensions. The torso is too short by three inches, the sleeves are too short by a couple inches, and I had to tear out the neckline ribbing because it made the neck opening way too small. Ugh.
Cast on the other sock, trying to get the cuff and leg done before bedtime. *yawn*
Quick weekend commission. Took about 12 hours start to finish. Pattern: Sisa Slouchy Hat, on Ravelry for $5.
