One of my speeding bullet headcanons before they get together is that Scout regularly steals sniper's stuff to get his attention and then sniper chases after him even though they both know sniper can't possibly catch him but he tries anyway because it's kinda fun

This one is not as detailed because I decided I don't want to spend so much time on one drawing again when I need to practice above all... And yes practicing can be spending few days making one drawing until it's "perfect" but doing more drawings or sketches in less time is a better way to practice the specific things I'm trying to learn. I'm a perfectionist and it always takes me forever to finish something. So how much time did I spend doing this speeding bullet piece you ask? Two days..... Yeah that's still a lot I think but you know how long it took me to make the gentle surgery one until I figured everything out??? SEVEN. FUCKING. DAYS.

So two days seem pretty good in comparison.

Here it is. My first digital fanart. Like ever. With lineart, coloring, shading and all. I just recently got fully into digital art and MAN is it a nice change from traditional painting (pain in the ass) even tho I'm drawing with a pc mouse haha.

Anyway these two old dudes been having a good time in the scenarios I create in my head (by good time I mean being very good friends of course :---) ) and seeing all the talented artists here and also not seeing enough gentle surgery fanarts I decided to do my own!!! I'd love to write some fanfictions as well but hell I'm terrible at writing unfortunately but at least I can draw anything I can think of!!!

So expect more gentle surgery (and perhaps some speeding bullet) in the future >:--)

It's officially my bday month and now i can draw again because ArtFight is over

Almost forgot to post these, cuz i had to fix some things lol They look kinda weird cuz they where the first drawings i did of my animal mercs, and i traced their models (the headshots look hideous)

But anyways, some more detailed drawings of my animal mercs! I should probably draw them more, specially Medic and Sniper (scary cobra Medic my beloved)

Medic would 100% use his venom in his medicine without telling anyone (cuz for him it would be obvious. The others would be terrified to know lol)

And what this means is I can now play music with an interface made up of pixel art old enough to rent a car

I tried re-creating the doodles scout made in expiration date so that I could own a physical version of them to use in an assignment!

We (as in the tf2 community) do not give NEARLY enough thought to the fact Scout can draw! My boy Scout is not just a stupid sporty dude. He is an ✨artist✨

He has a very defined art style and has a really good grasp on the human form :0

More yapping about his art & some headcanons I have about it under the cut

Things I noticed:

-REALLY GOOD LINE WORK

-Impressive understanding of composition

-Fantastic knowledge of exaggeration

-Works well with limited supplies

-Knows where to keep and drop details

-Good knowledge of the shapes of things

-Shades his art where it fits

-Understands perspective (based on the car)

HEADCANONS OH YEAH:

- Drew A LOT as a little kid and was probably teased for it by his older brothers.

- Always took an art elective, but says it was "just for the easy grade."

- Downplays his skill level in art due to being slightly embarrassed that he enjoys the subject.

- All tests he has ever taken are 100% covered in his drawings.

- Always put baseball over art due to baseball being more "masculine" than drawing. I feel he also thought he was better at baseball than art.

- Absolutely 0 knowledge over the names of the principles of art and design, but can execute them very well.

- Clearly he was inspired by his comic books in the way he draws.

- Art was probably a way he could zone out and ignore the chaos of his house when the weather wasn't good enough to go play baseball outside.

- Definitely has OCs with complex stories he has made comics about.

- He primarily draws on lose scraps of paper over using a sketchbook, but he does keep his drawings organized in either a folder or by just gluing them into an old notebook.

Feel free to take any of these headcanons and incorporate them into your own ones :3
