“Sorry, I didn’t see you there.”
“Excuse me- Oh. Hey Wesley”
“Alika, hi. It’s been a while. How’ve you been?”
“Probably hanging out with some of her more fun, possibly male, friends, but it’s alright. I’m much more than what meets the eye, I think I can handle myself.” Audrey grinned, tilting her head slightly to the side, “but if all else fails, you can always risk your life for mine, agreed?”
Wesley shrugged, grinning. “I don’t know about that...You let a complete stranger move in across the hall from you. If no one else kills you, I could easily kill you myself,” He teased, adding in a subtle wink, “Not to say I would kill you, I still need a place to stay.”
Felicity grinned and shook his hand, “I’m Felicity,” she said pulling a chair out and sitting down, “are you new around here too?” she asked him, sipping her latte.
“Yeah. It’s nice to finally meet someone who knows as little about Rosewood as I do,” Wesley nodded, chuckling, “Any reason that brought you here?” He held his coffee cup between his hands, twiddling his thumbs.
“Trust me, you won’t like me when I’m drunk,” He said as he took another sip of his drink, “We’re both lucky to have each other,” It was probably the alcohol that was making Wesley flirt without immediately feeling embarrassed. “Forgive me if I start flirting, by the way. I tend to do that when I’m drunk- you being insanely attractive doesn’t help either.”
“You’re pretty cute yourself,” Audrey said with a grin, her tone becoming more confident the more she drank. “And we’re both going to get drunk anyways, meaning I’ll also be probably doing some things I don’t normally do as well so.. flirt away.” She eyed Wesley up and down, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
“I’m glad we settled that,” Wesley grinned, feeling the most relaxed he had felt in a long time, “So, where’s this friend of yours? It wasn’t very nice of her to leave you all alone like this- you’re an easy target.” He leaned closer to Audrey, the party making it difficult for Wesley to hear Audrey.
“It’s okay, I guess. I’m sorry for kissing your girlfriend. Ex-girlfriend, I mean.”
Ezra took a deep breath.”And I guess I am sorry for not helping you when you needed the help.Look if you need a job I can give you a job at the Brew.”
Wesley’s eyes slightly widened out of surprise. Though they had said their apologies, he hadn’t expected a job offer. “That’d be awesome, yeah,” He paused for a moment, considering whether to add a thank you, “Thank you, Ezra. Seriously.”
Ezra wasn’t a bad guy and he didn’t hate Wesley,it was just built up anger from other things that made him take it out on Wesley.”Don’t thank me,look Wesley I know it might be difficult but would you like to start a clean state as brothers?”
Wesley nodded, a hint of a smile appearing on his face. “I would like that, yeah.” Despite what Wesley had to go through to make amends with his brother, he was glad that it worked out. It was hard living without a familiar face.
“Then I guess you’re going to be the one taking care of someone all night. Which is probably likely, just to warn you,” Wesley laughed, leaning against the wall with the side of his arm to face Audrey. “I don’t even know why I’m here, to me it’s just a party full of strangers. Well, all except one,” He added, eyeing her up and down.
“I don’t mind at all. I look forward to seeing a hungover Wesley,” Audrey grinned. “Honestly, I don’t know very many people here either. So I suppose I should be glad to have you keep me company.” Audrey took another sip from her cup, and she wasn’t much of a drinker so she could already feel the alcohol slightly taking its toll on her.

I tend to do that when I’m drunk- you being insanely attractive doesn’t help either.”
Wesley grinned at her before quickly disappearing to get her a drink. “Here. If you pass out, I’ll probably have to be the one to drag you home so drink at your own risk.”
He quickly chugged down his drink, licking his lips afterwards. Smiling, he raised his cup and tapped it against hers. “Cheers.”
“Oh, what a gentleman,” she joked as she took the drink from his hands, inspecting it for a moment. “What if you pass out as well?” Audrey asked, raising an eyebrow before bringing the cup to her lips and matching Wesley’s actions; chugging down her drink and tapping it against his. “Cheers.”

“I did not follow you! Why would I follow you? A friend invited me over and I simply thought that it might be fun. Though I’ve kind of lost track of her by now..”
“Hmm…You sure it wasn’t just an imaginary friend? Maybe you’ve had a bit too much to drink.”
“Whatever, Wesley,” she gave him a playful shove at the shoulder and shook her head, “and I’m going to need more if I plan on hanging around you the entire night.”
Wesley grinned at her before quickly disappearing to get her a drink. “Here. If you pass out, I’ll probably have to be the one to drag you home so drink at your own risk.”

“Oh, Declan. How’ve you been doing?”
“Tired, I don’t remember the last time I slept properly, how about you?”
“I’m sorry to hear that. Is it because of the ghosts? I’ve been doing alright, managing to make some new friends and find my way around.”
“I did not follow you! Why would I follow you? A friend invited me over and I simply thought that it might be fun. Though I’ve kind of lost track of her by now..”
“Hmm...You sure it wasn’t just an imaginary friend? Maybe you’ve had a bit too much to drink.”
"I’m sorry Wesley..I don’t know what had gotten into me."Ezra said trying to remain calm.
“Seems like we both have anger issues to deal with.” Wesley grumbled as he looked away from Ezra. “I get that you’re angry about mom and dad but don’t take it out on me. I’m not like you, okay? You might have been brave enough to leave behind everything you had to start over but I wasn’t and I don’t even know if I’m ready now.” He clenched his jaw, trying to keep himself from yelling.
Ezra felt like a real jerk, all he wanted was for his brother to stop letting their parents run his life but he never thought Wesley was not ready for that like he was at his age.”I never realized that Wesley..I apologize.”

“Yeah, well, you shunning me isn’t making me want to be any better of a brother.”
"Why would I want to be a good brother to you.You only ever disappoint me."
“How is it possible to disappoint someone when you’re living thousands of miles away from them?”
Ezra wasn’t thinking he had all this built up frustration and his fist just went flying to Wesley’s face.He had punched his brother.
Wesley put a hand to his cheek, glaring at Ezra. “Real mature.”
Ezra didn’t know what to say,in fact he was ashamed right after he did it.”I-I never meant to punch you.”
Wesley sighed, calming himself down. “Whatever, just forget it. I probably deserve it.”
“Sorry, I didn’t see you there.”
“As long as this isn’t a joke about my height, don’t worry about it.”
“It wasn’t but now that you mention it…”
“Don’t test me Wesley Fitzgerald… What are you doing here anyways, shouldn’t you be- actually, I have no clue what you like to do in your free time, is this it? Partying?”
“No, I actually collect stamps. But I thought I’d switch it up tonight. And what brings you here? I get that we live together and all but you don’t have to follow me.”
“Yeah, well, you shunning me isn’t making me want to be any better of a brother.”
