Vamp Nest || Dean & Stiles
Dean chuckled at the kid’s nervousness, “No, no,” he told him, “You’re right, you need to learn how to hunt. We’ll take care of them together.” he informed the boy as he took his Machete back out of his jacket. He pushed the door open to the room that the vampires were obviously in. He grinned at the three of them, one was holding a human girl in front of them, “Now, you have two options.” he told them, swinging his arm to his side so the Machete was pointing towards the ground.
He glanced over towards Stiles who seemed to be fighting his nerves at least a bit better than he was in the hallway. “Let the girl go and we’ll leave,” he glanced back over at them, praying that Stiles understood that he was only lying and didn’t make a scene. “Or keep the girl and you’ll be headless just like your two guards.”
He chanced a glance at Stiles who was biting his lip and staring straight at the human girl. “If they agree, take her and go back to the car.” he whispered just loud enough for him to hear. He was only trying to get Stiles riled up in the hallway. He knew he wasn’t actually ready to take three vampires on. The kid was decent with a weapon in his hand but he needed at least a few more lessons before Dean would risk allowing him to fight more than one monster at a time.
Stiles swallowed nervously as he followed Dean into the room - the only reason his feet were still taking steps forward was because of the adrenaline running through his veins - he stared, wide eyed, at the three vampires that stood in front of them. The vamps could easily pass as human if it weren't for the fangs but they looked nothing like Edward Cullen (they didn't sparkle). He looked over at Dean when he began to talk, shocked that he was trying to reason with the vampires, but then realizing that he was most likely trying to trick them into letting the girl go. He stared at the girl; she was young, probably about Stiles' age, and if they were in a different situation he would probably be attempting to flirt with her.
He caught Dean's gaze as he whispered to him orders to get the girl and leave. He nodded back quickly because he just wanted to get the hell out of there himself. He knew as soon as this was all over he would be having a really long conversation with Dean about how he never does what he's told but he couldn't bring himself to care about that when there were monsters in the same room as him. He watched as the scene unfolded and the vampires agreed to let the girl go in order to save their own butts. The girl was handed over to him and he took a hold of her hand as he walked her out of the room whispering "It's okay, you're safe, I'm gonna get you out of here," the girl followed him willingly and with one last glance at Dean he closed the door behind him leaving his guardian alone to take on three vampires. He silently cursed himself for being such a baby and not helping his friend take down the monsters.
