So, this is what Tumblr’s squeaky-clean image is producing: A dogwhistle clickbait ad, leading to fake CBC news page pretending to be about Universal Basic Income, which is actually an ad for an online casino. Real great job there tumblr.
In keeping with tumblr’s new policy, where something nice, safe and whitewashed.

I don’t post much of the personal, political or opinion sort here; mostly it’s my very occasional posts about things I make.
But I’ll make an exception with this, and this is probably obvious and redundant to anyone who knows me, but...

So I plugged an Otamatone, possibly the most annoying instrument ever made, into a Miku Stomp, possibly the most bizarre guitar pedal ever made. It glitched out wonderfully, so I made a video with that plus lots of creepy effects and a bit of electric guitar for good measure.

Courtesy Dan the Video Ninja, here’s me in a highlight reel of masq entries from Anime North 2016; where our hero attempts to dance while wearing a giant purple head banana and neck canoe.
Dark Magician part 2: using foam backing rod as trim in everything to give a nice dimensional look to it. Then deciding to use it for the piping on the bodysuit - the stuff is awesome for anime-sized piping btw. At this point I completely stopped remembering to take progress pics so next up will be full pics.
Work on Dark Magician part 1: Patterning out and cutting the EVA foam, shaping it, gluing it and doing way too much finishing to get clean edges. The neck canoe is going to end up being a lot bigger too. With a sneak preview of the bodysuit that needs a bit of finishing around the ankles.
Hey, did you go to Atomic Lollipop last year and attend the Prozzak concert??
I indeed attend APop and got to see the Prozzak concert as well. We had a spot up in the balcony in the bar area so we were a bit far away, but had a good view of the entire show.
Sadly the sound was a bit off for the show, it seemed; may have still been EQ’d for dance so it was heavy bass, not much else. Still, it was a fun blast from the past moment!

Been a while since I posted a full video. This was a bit of easy listening with the new Korg Minilogue playing with the Elektron Analog RYTM and the modular kit. Something simple to test syncing up all the parts - MIDI and the Minilogue’s sync out cable used for this one.
