So I watched Once Upon a Time as a kid while it was airing with my mother. Id attempted rewatching a couple times since then because sometime after s4 im pretty sure we stopped watching, but never got more than a couple eps in and overall just didn’t remember much from it aside from hot people and like the most cherrypicked useless knowledge.

Recently, a friend pushed me to rewatch it so I did.

Speaking of lesbians, we just see Ruby get with Dorothy and its just???? There???? And never comes up again????? I would have watched way more backstory and lead up to this???? I love that little reveal it was adorable but like there wasn’t really much going for it? Ruby shows up in the Underworld, finds out Dorothy is in a sleeping curse, tries to find Dorothy’s grandmother to save her, fails, travels to Oz and kisses her awake anyway and its not even a full two episodes of a plot line????

Im sorry, Hook’s brother’s plotline was also such a nothing sandwich for the most part that couldve been an overarching plot over at LEAST a couple eps but no he shows up, betrays them, redeems himself and goes to heaven in the same episode. The Cora thing? Tf?????

And do NOT get me started on the Underworld/Hell thing. I can only HOPE that “heaven” was Elysium but like american media portray the afterlife in something other than the christian way challenge failed. If they had the writing for it (not doing half season arcs) the underworld couldve been AWESOME. Also whats with all this “twist on fairytales” and literally every additional character after frozen is literally just

I cant tell if its Apollo being an unreliable narrator/a shithead brother or Rick Riordan forgetting his own writing that Apollo keeps talking about being Artemis’s big brother.

And she just keeps letting him come back, keeps inviting him to shit? Fully just lets Albert drag around his social outcast bestie to every function, family and social? Beautiful, amazing, iconic. The fact that her attempts at setting him up with Dora keep getting ruined at every opportunity and yet she backs down the minute she realizes *why*? The patience she has for her son and his two social outcast besties is so fucking funny. What does she mean she “would’ve loved to have Dora as a daughter”, Elias is practically also her son at this point, thats absolutely her daughter now.
