SPOILERS FOR THE LAST OF US PART ONE

I recently finished Tlou 1 after procrastinating playing it for a while
And I already knew the entire story going unto it.
But damn it was a good game to experience, I also played on the newest remaster, where it has the HUD of Tlou 2 (Tlou 1 HUD is lowkey kinda ass)
But here I am going to recall my experience with Tlou 1
First off i want to say that the controls were very annoying to get good at but i enjoy them now (EXCEPT THE FUCKING SPRINT BUTTON BEING L1 FUCK YOU)
i actually tried playing the game twice before playing it all the way through
SPOILERS START HERE, FINAL WARNING
on my first playthrough i stopped playing when Tess died because i got lost interest
on my second playthrough i stopped right before Henry and Sam died
and then i completed it on the third playthrough
i actually completed the game relatively fast compared to how long my second playthrough was, i finished the entire game in around the same time as the entire second playthrough
This game has some of the best storytelling I've ever experienced
i like the way Tess becomes more dismissive of Joel after she gets bitten and the way she gets very stressed about time
I almost cried when Henry and Sam died even though i knew it would happen, Henry's crying was so realistic.
Also I love how well they deal with portraying David as the monster he is
it starts off with them showing him as just a survivor like everyone else but then he reveals himself to Ellie as someone who lost many soldiers to Joel and Ellie
and then when she's been captured and she gets called "David's newest pet" absolutely disgusting
and let's not forget that David is also a cannibal
i also love the way he slowly becomes more and more unhinged during the fight in the restaurant
and then his most disgusting on-screen act, when he tried to rape Ellie
I honestly felt sick to my stomach during that scene and i cheered when David died
i was kinda disappointed that we never even saw David's mangled corpse.
but i understand why it wasn't shown, it was a very emotional scene and i think us seeing David there would've taken away from the emotion of the scene
and i love the way Joel embraced Ellie as a father, him saying "oh, baby girl" broke my heart bro
the rest of the game went by in very fast and i don't recall anything that wowed me specifically
The visuals in this game were incredible
As i said i played on the newest remaster and i was very impressed by this game
This is a phenomenal videogame and I'd recommend it to literally everyone, this is a must play game
This game gets a 9/10 for story 10/10 for visuals 8/10 for gameplay and a 10/10 for music
