Baby sampler for a friend’s kid. Named blanked out for obvious reasons. The music is for Here Comes the Sun, which is my friend’s favorite song. I made up the border pattern, buttons & sun, everything else comes from various elements I’ve collected over the years.
Bad pictures of a filet crochet hockey rink lap blanket. I made up the pattern, mostly to test theories for the filet crochet cross for a friend. It’s much smoother now that it’s been washed.
Celtic cross in filet crochet, a housewarming present for a friend. I made up the pattern.

Crochet shark hat from this pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crochet-shark-hat just because I had the yarn sitting around.
A Scout Ham from To Kill a Mockingbird. A thesis encouragement present for a friend. I just made the pattern up as I went along, as it was supposed to be lumpy.
Crochet Enterprise, from this pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/starship-enterprise-amigurumi. I altered the nacell pattern to be one piece. Quick and fun!
Present for a friend, from this pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cactus-3-2
Quick, easy. With my yarn/hook, the pot wasn't large enough, so I increased that, and altered the arm a little to adjust for size. Also added a dirt color between plant & pot.
Crochet Stanley Cup. There were no patterns online, so I made one up as I went along. I’ve since made it a few more times and refined it. They’re super quick & fun!
I’m trying to come up with a pattern for the Isobel Cup, but I’m running into some problems with the geometric aspects. I’ll get it someday.
Star Wars amigurumis.
The R2D2 is from a book of Star Wars crochet patterns. I’ve made three or four of them now, and they’re pretty quick & great presents!
The BB-8 is an altered pattern from Ravelry ( https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bb-8-amigurumi ). I didn’t like the way the rings attached, and I wanted a bit more grey in the top. It’s also made in baby cashmere I got on sale and is so so soft.
A square from the blanket I’m currently working on. It’s a Luc Chantal Nordiques jersey, of course.
More tiny patterns that I made while bored in class. Unfinished TARDIS, 1up shroom, Batman, Flash, unfinished Faceless Winslow, Toadette.
It's a terrible picture, and also missing one stitch, but I am 1. procrastinating, and 2. using this to organize things on this end, so HERE YOU GO. Some Appa.
Little tiny patterns are the best because they are really quick, and then you feel like you accomplished something. And also you have presents for people!
Based on the Flying Spaghetti Monster pirate fish. http://www.venganza.org/images/spreadword/jollyfish.jpg
That one. May you be Forever Touched by His Noodly Appendage
1. An Eel in the Eel is worth Two in the Eels, which is why my friends and I should never ever be allowed near The Mighty Boosch and proverbs at the same time. 2. A sparkly unicorn (it's hard to tell in the picture, but it does sparkle!), mostly based off of the unicorn shirt Marten wears in QC ( http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=287 ) and the subsequent shirt design ( http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/unicorn-shirt ) . It was made as a present for a friend.
The back of the knock knock pillow, when it was halfway done. I just really like the patterns on cross stitches. It's like a little MAZE! Someday I will do something that is just this.
