Okay so I am pretty enchanted by the Knights of Guinevere pilot. Not only do I have no real idea how the hell is it going to go, which I love, but it already planted a couple of future conflicts earlier than most shows I see

Frankie's schizophrenia(?)

Andi feeling self-conscious about how smarter Frankie is with mechanic stuff than her

Class divide

The stomach churning idea that there's a bunch of rich people doing God knows what to Guinevere androids

Implication that this corporation is in control of multiple planets

The Guinevere android being extremely deadly and the broader implications of that

Some kind of sickness caused by the parks activity aka the weird blue blood

does anyone else think the Gwen Andi & Frankie found is actually…not part of the Guinevere hive mind? I say this mainly due to the “they’re not programmed to scream” bit, coupled with this Gwen apparently having a strange model. Assuming she’s the Gwen we see with Olivia in the first scene, I wonder if she’s the “original” and was created separately from the hive mind. I also wonder if the other Gwens aren’t really sapient in the way this one is. Either that, or the other Gwens are sapient but easier to control.

…also I wonder if all the Gwens have guts or if that’s unique to our gal. we know all the androids and animatronics have that blue blood but as for guts and organs…

Dev’s au pairs had driven them to his house in near silence. Hazel had wanted to say something, anything, but what? She’d planned for the confrontation, not the fallout. No more class, no more people, no distractions to smooth over the edges.

Now it was just her and Dev, standing in the oversized entrance of the Dimmadome mansion.

OMG IS THAT A MANDATORY SWAP AU???

Genuinely surprised that I haven’t seen anyone do it before. If you are confused, this is basically what if fairies where people and people are fairies.

I figured that the main reason this hasn’t been done before is because the whole point of godparents is to help miserable kids. So making kids the godparents and adults their godkids doesn’t make much sense. But in my interpretation of this au, fairies are send to adults who have been so consumed by adulthood, they forgotten how to enjoy life like when they used to when they where kids. Peter Pan/Little Prince kinda vibes

Also fairly oddparents style is though. But I tried so I at the very least can get participation trophie

Dev doesn’t like adults just as much as he doesn’t like his job. But after some time, when he eventually warms up to Peri he becomes convinced that his parents are terrible😬

I mean all he knows is that Peri bearly talks to them out of fear of disappointing them. They obviously are the problem!

Also why of all things in fop art style it’s the eyes and mouth that are the hardest to get right…😭

ITS COSMO AND WANDA TIME!!!

Cosmo and Wanda in the swap au are as expected: not fairies. They are a retired married couple, they have lead a very successful working career and spend the last years travelling all over the globe. Unfortunately after seeing so many exiting things they, with time have grown increasingly bored with their life. Again.

They try settling into this new city and lucky for them their new neighbour is 100% a normal 10 year old girl.

Of course Hazel is gonna be their Godparent fairy. She did initially plan on becoming one, she was actually in the middle of searching for a new job. Wanda and Cosmo, sulking about how much they miss their son and how miserable they are, where just in the right place in the right time.

I actually wasn’t sure if I wanted to change Wanda and Cosmos hair. I kept their designs relatively the same, why should i reinvent the wheel, it’s already amazing. I tried thinking about other hair colours they could have and settled on ash blond for Cosmo and brown with red undertones hair for Wanda.

I am not the biggest fan of this look to be honest, since the original is so iconic. But i ether way this is how it looks:
