・ DREW STARKEY as RAFE CAMERON in OUTER BANKS season 2.
House of the Dragon Fabien Frankel as Criston Cole -> Season 1
hard to believe that people genuinely think that rafe is a genuine psychopathic murderer when he has very emotional reactions to seeing a body, and a further reaction when he finds out that it's someone he knows.
ward cameron digging the grave he's going to drag them both down in.
and i don't really think that he's masterminding a way to implicate rafe in all his crimes, but it just happens to work out perfectly that way anyway. they have dirt on each other and it's just a matter of time until something slips out that implicates one of them (i'd bet rafe is the one who's more likely to accidentally let something slip that implicates ward).
rafe's been taught within the last few days/weeks that murder/evil shit done for his dad will get him love and respect from ward, and this only further reinforces that. like of course his mind is all fucked up over this shit.
you've been trying to get attention and love from your dad forever to no avail. that is, until you kill someone for him, and then he just suddenly give you all that affection you've been begging for. and then he brings a body home to get your help disposing of it, and then he thanks you and tells you that 'you've got his back' and that he's proud of you. and then he tells you that your family was broke and it was you that saved them all by killing that first person. suddenly your dad couldn't be more proud of you, more thankful for your actions. he's saying 'i love you' now and you don't know how to react, but you want more. it's like a bump the way it rushes straight to your head. and you want more. and you'll do anything to get it.
