Under the Weather || Hana and Carter
Hana turned her head to look at Carter as she put the towel around her shoulders. She clasped it tight around her, nodding. “Just shaken up, I guess. I’m okay.” She smiled a bit, trying to be reassuring. She stood quietly when the thunder rumbled again, listening. She used to like thunder, when she was little, unlike all the other kids. She used to want to run out in the rain while it was storming, but now she had other feelings. “Thank you again, Carter. I’m sorry for … intruding.”
"You're not intruding," Carter assured her, brushing a strand of wet hair off Hana's forehead to tuck behind her ear. She smiled. "Here," she said then, moving to the dresser to pull out some pajama bottoms and a t-shirt that was obviously Zach's as it was much too big for Carter. She handed them both to Hana. "Here, change into these. You'll be a lot more comfortable." She smiled at the girl reassuringly.
