When there was no immediate reply, Arianna let out another soft sigh, closing her eyes as she waited on him, letting her thoughts drift back to things like…
Is he okay? Clearly not. Would Arianna have been able to prevent any of this had she been there? Possibly. Why hadn’t she been there? Just because she was the one with the troubled past, that didn’t mean that it was impossible for Tony to have a troubled future. Trouble seemed to run in their family, after all.
If only she’d foreseen this. If only those sigils she’d drawn on her floor had done something. If only those Latin dialects she’d whispered to herself so many times had worked. If only she were a real witch, and if only she hadn’t wasted so much time isolating herself as she wished for that.
She was a terrible sister, wasn’t she?
And again, Tony’s words brought her back to reality. She lifted herself to her feet, not giving her brother a verbal response this time as she made her way to the kitchen.
Decaf, she decided. Two spoons of sugar. He didn’t need any more than that. She grabbed him a small biscuit, as well, despite the fact that he hadn’t asked for one. He ought to eat something. after all.
Once she made her way back upstairs, she gave his door a single knock.
"Are you going to open the door for me, or should I leave this out here?"
As he heard her footsteps leave, the orange haired boy turned on the floor, laying on his pillow. Thoughts straying through his life, rethinking of fun times when his sister and him were kids and would go out and have fun with loosha. It was one of the only ways that calmed him down after an event like this-- especially since he was coming to his senses that his sister just saw him in that state. After all these times of never getting caught, Would it finally end here? It sure felt like it, who knows though. Arianna was stupid enough to think she was an actual witch, perhaps she wouldn't come close to the conclusion of what he had done.
On the verge of practically falling into a light slumber, Tonys head jolted up when he heard the knock. Since his head still felt fuzzy, It took the boy a while to stand up, reaching over to the door and cracking it open. Once he was able to process who she was, he opened it all the way with an emotionless, yet tired seeming face. Which then turned a look of a bit of surprise.
"...."
Wow, He didnt actually think she would do it, but she did. and it came to him as a bit of a surprise. Who knew that their roles would end up switching.
Tony looked battered and withered, Bags under his eyes, his hair a bit messy, red sore looking eyes. The boy didnt seem to look in good condition at all. And now he just seemed completely tired and out of it by this point.
"... I didn't think you'd do it. But thanks I guess."
It almost had a tint of harshness, but surely it wasn't purposely.
