Big Announcements…

As I have been revitalizing my social media life in recent months, I have been reviewing my online portfolio regarding the future of social media and I have made a decision that I think that will let me to take it to the next level and my personal life updates as well.

Announcement #1

Over the years, I have had major milestones and I have accomplished one lifelong dream that had been in the works since at least 2009 or so. I have met a politician and it was surreal because I thought I would have to wait until my '30s to meet a major celebrity in the form of concerts, but I went to a town hall event on Sunday afternoon and I want to explain his in detail on a future blog post. It was a once-in-a-lifetime event that I never thought it would happen, but it did—and a lot of people don't get the opportunity to meet someone famous whether it is someone from Capitol Hill, film, television, singer, or someone else. Therefore, I am happy to announce that I will be starting a scrapbook of major milestones soon.

Over the last two years, I have grown as a blogger and I am consistently looking to grow even more as a writer. I am proud to announce that I am happy to announce that I will be moving to Medium "soon". I am looking forward to growing my base to a wider audience. I can't wait tell all of my stories in-depth on Medium.

Exploring Ideas

This morning, I found out that a politician will be doing a town hall nearby where I live. Therefore, I may end up going there because I want to explore the policies that the candidate has in store if the individual is elected as the President. Meeting the candidate will be nervewracking, but I believe it will pay off at the end of the day and make ends meet by Election Day 2020 next year in addition to meeting some of my Top 5 choices before I narrow down to one when I vote at the Primaries (a.k.a. Super Tuesday) next Spring.

If I do go, I may livestream the trip on Periscope and will definitely post updates as I get much closer to the location on Twitter. Hopefully, it will work out perfectly.

I Got My Wishlist of the Month!

Yesterday, I got my Lego celebrity toy yesterday and I like how it is so miniature that I'm planning on buying at least two or three more before mid-summer. I have a few on my mind and eventually show them off by July or August. I plan on buying two more of them in the month of May and I will decide to see if I'll get a third one or not in June, but time will tell if I'll eventually get a third one or not.

What Comes Next?

My longtime ambitions of meeting a celebrity could come this time around because I want to explore what the ambitions of those hopefuls have in mind that I'll be able to come up with a decision by the winter months. It will be based on policies and personality when I come up with a final conclusion at the end of the year or early next year.

Making Crafts and Life Updates

This is the week when I have the second week of Spring Break! This week, I plan on getting the celebrity Lego figure with the hopes of having the toy by the end of the week or so which will be followed by showcasing the newly-made keychain in a set of photos and a possible big announcement—which might not come until at least the autumn or winter, but it might be earlier than that. Today, I will be shopping online to get the Lego and possibly Walmart to get the final touches to the DIY project in order for me to show it off in a way that I could be creative. I hope to post the photos as soon as possible.

Going Forward…

Ah…renewals are just getting underway for the 2019-20 TV season and I am still waiting for my favorite shows to be renewed. I am not going to invest on upcoming season passes until the renewals have been announced and I can't wait to see its premiere dates—which is my favorite part in preparation with each season that is about to begin—over the summer and I see them as I look at the new schedule concurrently. I also can't wait to pick what I want to see in the new season as well!

Spring Break Plans

Well…it's this time of the year again! I will out from school for a week and I get to announce my plans for spring break.

Here's the breakdown what I plan to do.

I plan on buying a new pair of roller skates because I can't wait to roller skate in the streets during the grueling months that are about to loom.

I plan on making bracelet beads because I want to go to meet at least one or more candidates that align with my ideology. In fact, it is one of the goals and I plan to keep that way. I will show them on my newly relaunched Twitter account and Instagram as well in the coming weeks.

I plan on working unfinished business related to school.

If the renewals for the fall TV season are announced before the end of next week or so, I will be setting up the new summer schedule "within hours" and announce them here shortly thereafter.

The one that I'm most excited about is the bead project and the new roller skates because I am enthusiastic about them with the hopes of a personal goal that I have been wanting to achieve for years: Meet a celebrity in-person (TV/film actor, politician, news anchor, etc.). I'm hoping to do that because it had been on my wish list since I was a girl and want it to be crossed off from my wish list.

Big Announcement!

As you all know, I have been teasing when I'll be relaunching my Twitter account—well, today will be the day! I will be launching in the daytime or so and tweet one or two per day akin prior to my two-year break from Twitter.

Is a Big Announcement Coming on Twitter?

For days, I have been considering who I'll endorse in next year's Presidential Primary, but I may announce it within weeks or leave it off until summer. I plan to announce the endorsement this early because I have a specific goal of uniting the American people and end the polarizing times in the United States that had been engulfing for the better part of the second half of this decade.

Going back to my relaunch plans, I will be following groups and people as time flies by and hopefully, I will be back in full force as I was back in 2016.

Twitter Relaunch Update

The relaunch date has been moved up by two weeks, and it will be tomorrow—Monday, March 18th! I can't wait to tweet from my iPad Pro as possible as I could and hope to use it for everyday life updates and voice on my views as well. Also, I have created a banner that is polished than the previous versions.

Dropping Hints

I am sorry for not opening up where I stand when it comes to politics early on, but I want to be clear what I stand for: Diversity and equality will be the only way that the U.S.A. will succeed. Therefore, I have been dropping hints who I will be endorsing in the '20 U.S. Presidential Election. I don't want to tell who he or she is, but I will you "soon enough" through Twitter during relaunch week. So far, I've been hinting on Instagram in cryptic posts, but I also intend to announce the endorsement on there in addition to Twitter.

On the other hand, I am endorsing the politician (preemptively), but I will be keeping the endorsement to myself for now.

Twitter Relaunch Date Revealed with New Details

I have set a relaunch date for my Twitter account—April 1st! I picked the date because I wanted to keep up with the news of the day.

I will be implanting this move as well on my Instagram account because I want to see news everywhere as I begin to pursue a second major in Political Science with the hopes of going into public service someday (I'm not ruling anything out) beginning in the summer months. The Instagram move will potentially happen over the weekend or so because I want to break my silence that has been in the dark for two years. In addition, I am restarting my Snapchat account in the coming weeks because I want to do some artwork in upcoming posts and turn them into videos for you to see. Have a nice weekend!

It's Official! The Twitter Reboot Is In the Works

Today, I have opened my account—which means I will be relaunching my Twitter account by scratch. Over the next month, I will plan how I will be relaunching and what will be my first post, which could end up with me endorsing a 2020 U.S. Presidential candidate (I have a few potential favorites so far, but I only can choose one) or something simple that I typically post. The banner will go up as well as the profile photo before the April relaunch.

Twitter Relaunch Update

In just a few weeks or so, I will be relaunching my Twitter account, but the question loomed to this and asked myself: "Should I use my old Twitter account or open a new one and start from scratch?"

Well…I've decided to open a new Twitter account because I want to start from the bottom and rise to the top as I did on my old Twitter account. In addition, I will also be using Snapchat and relaunch a YouTube account because I want to to expand my horizons on social media as the decade comes to a close in December.

The Silence Is Over

The last two years has been tough, but I am about to break a two-year silence that has been shelved for so long. I don't want to keep my silence until next year or in '21. However, Tumblr isn't the place for me to do so; therefore, I will be going to Medium to finally break my silence and explain my story that is about to be told. I will be an essay and I intend to post the story soon.

A New iPad Pro

This weekend, I get a new iPad after using the iPad Air for five years—a year before graduating from high school. I am excited to show off the device because I believe that might be the iPad of the next decade and it is a game changer for me.

What I Plan on Doing on My New iPad?

A few days ago, I will start the process of planning my return to Twitter, so I can't wait to go back and tweet again after a two-year break from social media.

I will also be making videos occasionally as I don't make them very often, but I have made a birthday shout-out video last summer and it was one of my popular posts to date.

Drawing has been one of my early childhood staples and I plan on drawing occasionally from time to time. Fanart is a possibility as I can scan the photo into the iPad and draw the picture on the device that I drew by hand.

I will be installing the apps that I've used on the old iPad Air onto the new iPad Pro including the apps that I usually see during the summer months of the year.

The list goes on and on…

Nonetheless, I will be going to the store early next week to purchase the accessories such as the USB Adapter Cable and the Headphone Connector because I want to start making GIFs for personal use and I will do a second post on the new iPad Pro once I've purchased the new device.

My Reaction to the Surviving R. Kelly Docuseries

I have seen the docuseries and the allegations from the women who met the singer are horrifying. I applaud for the women for coming forward because sexual assault is not only wrong, it is illegal.

In the era of the #MeToo movement, men should not only accept responsibility, but admit that they've done something immoral. However, some men are defiant that they've never abused a number of women. Personally, I believe that men who have been accused by a handful of accusers who happen to be women (two or less) should get a redemption, but if three or more women start coming forward, then I will believe in the women and not defend the perpetrator of the sexual harassment allegations.

However, in the case of R. Kelly, I believe in the women who have accused the singer pf sexual assault because it is important for the women to tell their stories, and the same goes for disgraced stars like Harvey Weinstein, Les Moonves, and Bill Cosby. I hope the women featured in the docuseries will someday get justice and I will stand by them.

Recent Events and the Future

It has been a few days since I last posted a blog post, and this is because I want to reduce my hours on social media—which includes Instagram, where I haven't posted since the penultimate week of 2018—so I could focus more on school and my well-being, my #1 priority.

In recent weeks, I have been journaling and writing fan fiction because it is said to be good for your mind, I bought the third season pass of Bull and I still enjoy the show after the first couple of seasons, I have also bought the first season of Murphy Brown on DVD after weeks of thinking about purchasing it, and watched documentaries on Hulu over the holiday break in order for my brain to learn more even though I am not studying. However, it is over: On Monday, not only I start a new semester in college, but I start watching Bull for the first time in over than a month (I can't wait for the day to come).

Going forward, I expect to buy a new iPad Pro because my iPad Air that I have been using for nearly five years has been relatively slow since the iOS update back in 2017 and can't wait to watch movies in 4K including the movies that I bought in recent years. Also, I will start planning my summer 2019 schedule once the renewals for the 2019-20 season are announced in the spring with the possibility of watching summer TV shows this year—it will all depend on the reaction on a reality series that I will watch next week.

Also in the works, a possible return to Twitter—which I quit back in 2017 due to a mental health breakdown at the time. However, a return is not yet final, but hopefully, I will return to the site by mid-year and work on rebooting my presence on the site (hopefully by the time August rolls around).

Moving Forward

It has been nearly a month since I last posted a blog and I want to put the unsettling events aside and look forward to 2019. However, I want to address that I took some time off from both Tumblr and Instagram for nearly two weeks because it was vital for me to put mental health as my #1 priority.

Lots to Look For in the New Year

This year, I plan to start watching in 4K, I can't wait to complete my Psychology A.A. at some point this year, I also plan to post fanfic stories, and many more that I want to accomplish by decade's end. As for TV shows, I am excited to watch the final episodes of The Big Bang Theory as the series finale approaches, but going into the next decade, I expect to watch the shows that are guaranteed for renewal come spring.

What's Next?

I start the spring semester in two weeks, I may do a blog post on the TV renewals after the list has been released and outline the summer plans for 2019. It is in the second-to-last planning stages (It will likely be finalized by early-to-mid spring).
