"You're a big shining star, you're a super star! You're don't belong there, anyway."
“It’s difficult to find words to describe just how moving that time out on the old road was. Nothing about it was false. Everything we came upon was raw, honest, and so real.” - Dan Fogelman, Cars writer

I watched Cars (2006) thousands of time in my childhood, the whole vibe of the movie is so calming and familiar to me. The main plot of the movie, about an egocentric individual who had no friends that suddenly found himself in a place where no one cared who he was, where he had to make amendments for his mistakes, where he learned what friendship and family was, is one of the best ones I've seen. Lightning Mcqueen went through a whole arc of becoming a gentle individual in one movie, his change never felt rushed or anything. Not to talk about the forgetten town and the nostalgia I always felt about the cars who lived in it. Cars (2006) is an important movie to me and it's kind of sad that some people judged it based on its sequel and not on his main plot.
