I’m a college student studying Media Production, Film, and English. I’m a mostly self-taught artist with a couple courses taken here and there.

I post art, crochet, video edits, and rants about shows I like.

I have two black cats, one orange cat, and two goldfish. To my fellow fish owners seeing this, they have a massive tank with multiple filters, and I do regular water changes. 

Movies and shows consume me. I love talking about fandoms and things I like, so feel free to ask me stuff or recommend anything that you enjoy!

the one thing i'm gonna say about rg liking that reel, and i beg you, read it through, is we can and should drop a celeb like a hot potato and stop supporting them if their core beliefs are harmful but he's just a drop in the bucket. rg is not that famous and the people who follow him with this level of dedication are mostly fandom engagers who are already aware to some degree about gender equality or have fundamentally left aligned values.

we can all collectively agree to cancel him but that's not gonna make a difference. the real bad guy here is the white religious reactionary cult crafting insidious social media videos that appeal to hundreds of thousands of regular people enough that they don't realise it's alt right bullshit, enough that they're willing to overlook the stuff they don't agree with or sounds silly (recycled toilet water come the fuck on). the first comment on that reel is a woman defending public education and gender equality but agreeing with the rest of it.

the problem is not that rg liked it and may or may not agree with all the statements, he's just one dude. the problem is that a lot of people will disagree with some of them but be disenchanted enough to join that lifestyle, and after a while they'll renounce that one belief they were holding onto. the problem is we can point and tell from the outside all we want and celebrate the people who made it out as heroes, but the people inside and the people on the fringes need the help. fuck rg. i'm talking about your aunt who is distrustful of the USA medical system and likes baking from scratch. i'm talking about your childhood friend with a food allergy that is swarmed by alt right homesteading videos because they wanted to look up allergen free recipes. the alt right exploiting that pipeline is not accidental, it's a move out of the Nazi propaganda playbook, find dissatisfaction and pin the blame on something ambiguous enough that lots of people buy into it.

alt right cults are the real enemy.

the "they're monsters" narrative negates that regular people can be manipulated into joining evil belief systems.

calling out rg is basic human decency. calling out the cult and educating people on the dangers of that kind of discourse is actual activism.

Rewatching s3 right now and tell me why Josh, who I love, but is a side character, and is getting more character development and growth than Eddie, a main character.

I swear Eddie says the exact same lines all the way back in s2 and s3 that he does currently at the end of s8. He’s struggling in the exact same ways.

Happy pride month everyone! Buck is definitely barging into Eddie’s house with arms full of pride flags and rainbow baked goods to make sure his first out pride is the best it can be.

GUYS. Wall theory.

Buck makes a comment about "Knocking this wall down" now that Eddie's house belongs to him. Except Eddie is on the opposite side of that wall, and his instant reaction is "Keep walking Buckley."

Buck wants to see what's right in front of him, but he can't knock down the wall without Eddie's agreement. And Eddie is leaving. Buck wants to see what's beyond the wall, wants to reach for Eddie, because he's already pulling away. Eddie refuses, commanding that they continue to ignore the feelings between the two of them.

Cut to, the end of s8. Eddie is home to stay, and he waits for Buck in the archway cutting through the wall. At first, he was in the hidden room, looking towards leaving for Chris. Now, he's in between the wall, not quite accepting anything specific, but choosing to look towards Buck.

When is a wall not a wall? When there's an option to move through it.

I genuinely think a good way of keeping Eddie and Buck under the same roof pre buddie canon could have been neither of them being able to afford living separately.

I mean Eddie said he could barely afford the El Paso house and Buck said his credit score was awful. They both broke. Make it so they can’t afford anything other than being roommates and let that be the hint for Buddie canon in s9.

Cus buck moving out just feels like the nail in the coffin to me, especially him saying it wasn’t his home. Like stfu it’s always been ur home.
