Cas needing Sammy's blood to gain her strength is so ironic. Cas loves saying how great vampires are but without humans, vampires don't survive.

On another note, Sammy really enjoyed sharing this moment with Cas.

Immortal Desires 1: Questions about chapter 9 & 10:

How does your mc feel when they find out Cas is missing after their hunting party got attacked?

How does your mc feel about leaving their mother behind with Seth?

Did your mc give Cas some blood? What was their reasoning?

Overall, what did you think about these chapters? Is there anything you’d have done differently as a writer?

Sammy is so upset to hear that Cas is missing, but she's also a little preoccupied with surviving her third trial and having her mom thrown into things in a more immediate way. Everything she was hoping not to happen was happening at once. Once they escaped safely, finding Cas was her priority.

Before last week, she wouldn't really agree to it, but mostly because she didn't know him. She feels better knowing he's Cas's mentee and not a killer Venandi, but given that Seth was part of what happened after the party in the woods, she does have her reservations. Unfortunately she has no other choice but to trust Seth, so she does. She can't think too much about it.

Sammy gives Cas blood without hesitation. She's had Cas's blood twice now, it's only fair to take care of her now. Also, she's used to Cas being strong, confident, and sassy, seeing her like this is so hard for Sammy, she'd do anything to help.

I enjoyed these chapters. We got a diamond scene with Gabe. A diamond scene with Cas (got to drink her blood again). Sammy had her third vampire trial. Her mom found out the truth. the Venandi hunting party being killed. So much happened and so quickly. It was a great set of chapters. [my only complaint is that Sammy didn't have time to tumblr things, but that just means there's too much other good things going on]

My favorite part was Sammy being grounded and Gabe visiting to help her clean. It was absolutely precious and he was so sweet. And their little kiss ending with them falling on her bed was just perfect. (but like that little alarm or whatever that went off and he had to leave without warning was weird, not sure if it means anything or it really was time to go to the hospital, but it was just so abrupt.)

Despite being in a semi-hiatus, I just had to post today as it is Luciano's special day :> (August 22nd)

Honestly, Luciano is such a sentimental character to me.

When I first decided to give WTD a try in 2025 after seeing the WTD Appreciation Week happening, I didn't know what to expect. I remember being curious about it in like late 2024, yet seeing the chapter summaries underneath honestly is what pulled me away as I went "*sigh*... It's prob some BS, I'll play it later." But when the appreciation week happened and I saw so many of my peers and mutuals playing it, I decided to give it a go- and now it's my biggest passion/obsession/interest yet!

1 year, 2 months, and 22 days of having it in the back of my mind. This is TOTES a normal thing everybody does... Totalllly... But enough of the jokes.

Luciano is a character that I've put so much effort into creating, into resolving, into polishing and adding more things to her to flesh her out, and she's honestly just... A big part of me.

I doodle her time to time, I think "Haha, Luci would love that" if my friends say something funny ( @kay2841 yk how real this is), I make jokes ABT her and the situations she gets into, I write fics that surround her, and I love to create art that involves her presence. I even base her dyanmics she has with certain characters, on real life dynamics I have with people irl.

@cadybear420 & @lover-also-fighter-also you guys know very well how much I put into Solrin Jaella when I first joined choices and dropped into HSS. She was a huge part of my life, and I loved her so so much. I'm honestly glad tho that I've moved on from a teenage character I adore, to growing and maturing with this adult character that I adore as well.

Luciano will forever infect my brain, until the next time I get a brain rotting obsession like WTD. But I hope I never get a new brain rotting interest like WTD. I have so many plans on rewriting, on fixing, and on expanding on this story and it's characters, and call it weird but I really really really feel at home in this dead ass fawk fandom. I honestly don't want to leave. I have too much for this series to ever let go of it completely.

I'm honestly so glad I put so much effort into her character at the start, as that's usually what makes or break a choices-interest (because as much as I love Mischief from TRR or Carlos from HOF, Solrin from HSS & Afonso from LOA for example are characters I put more into which made me like the series more as a result. Ykwim?), because WTD is so fucking mid it hurts, and yet I have the inventive of being such a fan of it and wanting my Luci to have a better story for herself- that I am going to take matters into my own hands and fix that shit so it's more enjoyable to me + any other people who find my stuff and see my vision for it.

I really hope people like, appreciate, and understand my Luci, as much as I do :> happy birthday my princess of Firelights 🩷

I totally get loving a character so much and putting that much energy into them.
