I think the most difficult part of about growing up is realizing how much things never seem to go according the plan. Everything is told like it is playbook. You go to school, make good grades, you work hard, and everything should form itself right when you want it. Now, I know personally that this idea of living is unrealistic. Nothing will never work exactly on your time, but I still find myself feeling unaccomplished and disappointed in myself. Even when I am still making progress, I still feel like I’m am far away from the finish line. CONT-->

However, I’ve realized it’s not the idea of failure that is holding me back. It’s I am hoping that everything I was told would come true. All of the simplistic, fairytale journeys of life could come true, and I live in the best Hallmark movie ever created.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY: You have to learn to shut off the rest of world, and focus on your own personal growth. Nothing will come easy. Your life will get rocky at some point. It doesn’t mean you are a failure. It means you are moving. Sometimes, you have to shut off the rest of world and listen to your intuition. Everything will be alright.
