I keep wondering whether hob was in the world wars. Timeline wise, according to hob's leviathan, he got to Liverpool before the war broke (1914).

I assumed he would not want to be involved in another war, another grand narrative to take lives away. But idk if I missed anything in the comics. I haven't read the last volume yet.

Any ideas?

The three songs that's been playing when Hob was waiting for Morpheus in 1889.

First one, "she drives me crazy", when he was waiting and fully expecting him to show up and admitting their relationship/connection: "what I had for you was true /things go wrong, they always do/ she drives me crazy like no one else/ She drives me crazy and I can't help myself/ I won't make it on my own/ no one likes to be alone"

Second one, "shattered dreams", when he is starting to feel anxious and think that Morpheus may not come while ruminating over what he said 100 years ago on the night they broke up: " so much for your promises / they died the day you let me go/ I thought I was you who would stand by my side/ woke up to reality/ and found the future not so bright/ I dreamed the impossible/ that may be things could work out right / and now you've given me given me/ nothing but shattered dreams shattered dreams/ feel like I could run away run away/ from this empty heart."

Then last, "keep on moving", when he accepted the fact that dream will not come, and he has to keep on living regardless: " I know the time, time today/ walking alone in my own way/ extremely cold and rainy day/ friends and I have fun along the way/ keep on moving/ don't stop/ like the hands of time/ click-clock/ keep on moving. "

I LOVE THIS

Morpheus and hob managed to have the same hair cut for 500 years. Even when hob was at his worst and just got long messy hair, Morpheus matched with him.
