Spock and Jim are stranded on a planet – but Jim’s afflicted by a horrible zombie-esque disease, there are some freaky bugs, and they make friends with a giant lizard warrior. Incredible, perfectly-paced slow-build. And the backstory for the planet is awesome! This is like a legit novel right here.

Jim wants to adopt a Vulcan kid, but he can’t do that unless he becomes a Vulcan citizen. The quickest way to do that is by marrying a Vulcan, and Spock steps up to the plate to help raise the child. This fic is so nice and so sweet, and I really loved reading it.

Jim pines after Spock, but Spock isn’t available. Which sounds maybe normal and sad – but this one messes with alternate universes and timelines, and the ending had me shook for days.

Tackling the joke about everything being ‘Made in China’ the higher brothers use it to their advantage. They rap about everything from their chains to their girls being made in China. The Brothers thrive in their culture and they use hip-hop to show the listeners that they are proud to be Chinese. The Higher Brothers go on saying everything Chinese people are proud of like feng shui, ying yang, the great wall, the terracotta warriors, the forbidden city, and so on. They rap about their difficulties, and how they fight for their dreams. Sure, it sounds like a cliche but a rap duo from China isn’t something you see often. I still don’t know what the purpose of having famous Dex feature because he surely didn’t add anything to the song…

Like they preach “Made in China will amaze you”
