I love the parallel between Mother and Rogue in DATA WING istg. dull and colorful. calm, proud and bubbly, friendly. blind faith and sharp observance. one who, despite being made to keep the order in the system, seeks freedom outside of her "prison" no matter how destructive it is, after her betrayal by the manufacturer and her hope for something more shattered. and the other, despite being a malware made for destruction, fights to keep the system safe and help out, finding a forever "home" in the system after being met with failure after failure due to being something she couldn't choose.

I also love the subversion in roles!! Mother and Rogue, despite their roles as a helping hand in the system and malicious malware respectively, they act the opposite of their roles!! [Mother going on a rampage post-betrayal-realization, and Rogue trying to keep the system together and successfully sending the Message to Olivia with our help]

both are also super intelligent and desire something more outside their respecitve roles, but the ways they use their intelligence to reach their goal is interesting to pick apart!!
