the thing about stella is its like "why is she so stupid why does she keep putting herself in crazy dangerous situations and why is she ALWAYS FILMING" and then you get to episode 4 and its like she lost her parents at a relatively young age, has coped with none of that, her desire to find cryptids is half desire to find her parents ghosts and half suicidal ideation, and she has a huge grief-related gap in her memory that probably explains why she might trust a camera more than she trusts her own mind. and its like oh fuck the saddest girl in the world is a clickbait youtuber

I'm very happy that Scarlet Hollow is getting a bigger expansion again, though there is one small thing I would really love to see patched in.

In episode 1, there should be an option to tell Duke about your job and living situation the same way there is with Stella. I just feel like the only reason I don't go with Duke more often is because I don't want to miss out on all the Truck related dialogue, both then and later on.

i see folks in the notes suggesting that you be able to bring this up out of the blue, only to be shut down. please trust us that this would kill the flow of the scene. the joy of taking duke's route through episode 1 is that you don't have to lock into anything. for all we know, your MC might as well be astronaut mike dexter
