A cushion in the making. One pair of op shop denim jeans cut into 1/2” strips and finished off with a row of 1” strips of a discarded batik sarong using a 12mm crotchet hook.

After a bit of a break and a couple of road trips it feels great to be stitching again.

I found this hand pieced quilt top in an op shop many years ago and brought it home to quilt it, by hand. It's very worn out now but still so beautiful. I'd love to know who made the top and the history behind all the scraps of fabrics used.

Tonight is the last night of my road trip and I'm staying at a friend's holiday house in Flinders, Victoria. It's so nice to be in a home again after 6 days and nights in my kombi.
