so i found out this week that my parents pay for Fancy Youtube and could add me to their group for free, and the ability to listen to youtube videos without using excessive phone battery to keep the screen on is a life-changing feature.

1) so my brother is home for spring break, which always means we end up watching a bunch of movies we haven't seen.

2) black panther is GREAT and by far the best marvel movie i've seen.

3) but then after dinner we decided to watch that second movie by the guy who directed "moon," which somehow managed to be both horrifying and pointless and i cannot recommend it less.

4) so tl;dr something i learned about myself today is that there is a level of fictional human cruelty that will cause me to literally pass out.

the new wrinkle in time movie is like...so close to being good it’s frustrating.

#it was 'watch children's movies with my parents' weekend somehow lol #(also saw coco which is VERY GOOD)#like i still recommend seeing wrinkle in time b/c it's visually gorgeous and has some quality elements #(especially if you're already familiar with/remember the book--there's some stuff i don't think they fully contextualize within the film)#but it kinda felt like either they needed another few rounds of edits on the script or they ran into producer constraints #(like disney was like 'no you gotta make this for eight year olds or for teenagers NO IN BETWEEN')#but it was worth seeing and i hope storm reid gets a lot more opportunities from it b/c she was VERY good #like it felt sometimes like she was restricted by the awkwardness of the writing b/c in the pure emotional scenes she was amazing #anyway #media consumption blogue #dot txt

the Programming Problem Zone is when ALL your knowledge that would be REMOTELY applicable to the issue at hand is either from 1) those last few weeks of the high school year when everyone in algebra II was dead and stopped trying or 2) those last few weeks of the college semester when everyone in c++ class was dead and stopped trying.
