I SURVIVED

I had to go 24 hours without power/internet.

I mean that was the worst thing that happened my house and family were perfectly fine.

But the city right next to me is practically DEMOLISHED.

It's kinda terrifying.

But I'm okay now. I'm just going to watch some Heroes.

I missed Heroes. And Tumblr. I had literally nothing to do.

But I mean other people had it way worse than me.

I wish I could save them. My parents aren't letting me out of the house even though it's all over.

I guess being a hero is going to have to wait.

Alright but I need some Heroes already.

It's a lady who got a prophetic warning that there will be 2 major hurricanes and 3 earthquakes. (This warning came a year ago, apparently.) If the 2 hurricanes part didn't kind of make me say "that's kind of odd", LOOK WHAT JUST HAPPENED LIKE 30 MINUTES AGO

They're checking for tsunami threats now.

Where will the other 2 earthquakes be?

This is the most terrifying week of my life. I'm honestly surprised I haven't had a heart attack yet.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post anything today but

So I'm getting hit with a hurricane soon. A big one. Like, the biggest one ever in the Atlantic ocean (So they say). I decided that if my family and I are okay, I'll go help other people. I told this to my friend and this is what happened (copy and pasted):

Me: So if everyone is alright after this thing I wanna go save everyone else

Friend: Why

Friend: Aren't you scared?

Me: Terrified

Friend: Then save yourself and forget everyone else

Me: Can't.

Friend: Yes you can

Friend: What makes you think you can't?

Me: Because if we save ourselves, who's gonna save everyone else?

Friend: I swear to God if this storm doesn't kill you I will

I have great friends who watch Heroes.

But seriously I'm terrified I don't wanna die yet and I need the people I love to be okay.

My band teacher went through 4 hurricanes in a row when he was my age. He told me he'd talk me through it if I needed him to. Sorry Peter, but my band teacher is my hero now.

I think I'll be okay, but I'm still terrified. 200MPH winds aren't going to just come and go.

I just got glasses

I didn't realize how bad my vision is until I got these glasses.

I also didn't realize how bad of a person I was until I remembered I have like 4 messages to reply to ;-;

I'm really sorry I really don't have any excuses other than I just forget literally everything.

So I got glasses today. My dad put on an episode of Heroes and Peter came on and I was just like "why did nobody tell me what I was missing"

I made one of these for almost every single Heroes character and set them as a slideshow for my computer’s background. Yeah, I got my laptop back today. And yeah, I spent 4 hours making over 20 of these pictures. I think they turned out pretty well. 

(I put Peter's on here because...well...obvious reasons. His was also the first one I made so it's the worst out of them.)

Honestly, I really like this and I think I'll keep them as my background for a really long time.

I got all my electronics taken away (long story) and I'll only be able to like a few posts a day if I'm even on at all. (Checking my phone while it's charging) I'm so sorry I won't be able to respond to messages for probably another week or so. I'll update this if anything changes. My school sucks

My school BANNED the eclipse. So there's an eclipse coming in a week and my school is confiscating any eclipse glasses. You'll actually get sent to the principals office if you're found with the glasses. Now I have to be some sort of mastermind genius so I can sneak out of lunch and watch the eclipse. At least I have band after lunch. My band teacher would almost definitely let me do that, thankfully. I just need to make a plan. What is wrong with my school

I got in trouble on my first day of school

Alright so apparently no teachers have seen Heroes because I got in trouble today. Apparently, saying "This is macaroni and cheese. It's what Americans eat when they want to commit suicide slowly." Is not appropriate to say during lunch time. You live and you learn I guess. Okay I lied when I said no teachers have seen Heroes. My band teacher watched it and was talking to me about it for a majority of the class, causing me to break from my "I will only speak in Heroes quotes" thing, sadly. His favorite character was Peter, too! I have the best band teacher ever.

I am so not ready for school tomorrow. I just want to stay home and watch Heroes. I think I'm only going to speak in Heroes quotes for the entire day tomorrow just to throw people off. That could be fun. But I have school tomorrow and I'm really just not ready to think of something other than Heroes. Oh well. (By the way Heroes liked one of my only Tweets and I am FREAKING out)

What I love most about Peter Petrelli is that he wanted to be extraordinary real bad. Out of all characters he was probably the most driven to become a hero. He just wanted to be special and make the world better place. He always knew he had a potential of becoming someone and that he was meant to do something extraordinary. I mean the poor kid jumped from the rooftop because of a dream he had. He believed in this idea so much that he risked his life. And yet when his awful father took his powers he could just take the serum and have his powers back. But he didn’t. He did everything to destroy the serum for a greater good and didn’t even think of injecting himself with it. And then he saw his brother Nathan in danger and he just had to save him. Without thinking twice he took the serum and saved his brother because he knew he couldn’t save him without his powers. But he didn’t do it for himself he only did it to save Nathan and that is the most beautiful thing about this and man I just really love Peter.

I'm about to watch Five Years Gone. I haven't seen future Peter in so long I can't wait to see him again :)

I was rewatching the season 1 episode 0.07 and started wondering "What was 0.07% of the world's population back then?" And Google did the rest. Apparently, if everything went how they intended it to, about 4,677,125 people would be dead. Less than, actually, because 1) That was the population at the end of 2007, and 2) Linderman had said "less than 0.07% of the world's population" or something along those lines. I was watching it in the car and I wanted something to get me back into school mode. Only 2 more days :(
