So Hirohaki Araki, the creator of Jojo’s bizarre adventure was inspired by western fashion illustrators particularly those of Antonio Lopez. I was looking at some Lopez’s work and found the image below and now I’m wondering if it was used as a reference for when he was creating Avdol’s character design.
