Opposite Signs and Parallelism 👭⛲👬

I believe in the aphorism that sister signs are two sides of a coin. They’re like the North and South pole, at the opposite ends of the world and yet sharing numerous key characteristics. Whether you have opposite signs within your chart or have opposite sign connections with friends, the opposition aspect may be worthwhile to consider. Of course, sometimes the aspect may not be listed in a Natal, Synastry, or other chart because it doesn’t fall close enough to the necessary 90°. Regardless, the pairs are noteworthy in themselves.

Libra and Aries are the calm and the storm, love and fighting for love, they may learn from one another on how to grow. Libra can learn from Aries to stand up for what’s right, speak up, and assert their presence more. Aries can take away from Libra to be increasingly patient, calm, collaborative, and empathetic. The two may admire one another when they have similar goals but alternative ways to go about them. Aries is a crybaby, vulnerable under the external shell of protectiveness. Libra is self indulgent, aiming to be independent under the super sweet exterior.

Taurus and Scorpio share a sense of deep emotions, exerted into artistic abilities and guarded expressions. Taurus is physical, warm, comforting while Scorpio is so deep into diving within their emotions that they dissociate from physicality at times. Both recede into themselves, creating an enormous sense of mystery and preparing the intense, dependable persona they exert outwardly. Taurus can teach Scorpio to be more reasonable, not act out on aggressive emotions so much and instead take a breath and just enjoy the roses. Scorpio can teach Taurus to be a little more vulnerable, voice their feelings even though they’d rather focus on others.

Gemini and Sagittarius are the intellectual pair. Gemini has a tenfold of libraries in their mind, excitedly jumping from one topic to another and Sagittarius taking it easy and exploring the physical world instead, testing their limits. Gemini may remind Sagittarius to think things through while Sagittarius eases Gemini to take it easy sometimes. Gemini thinks up numerous wonderful things and worries. Of course, Sagittarius is tempted by the same but their ideas can bounce off one another and improve. They can easily jump from sadness to happiness and overcome mental barriers.

Cancer and Capricorn enjoy building up an ideal home for themselves, a foundation. Capricorn secures the walls and protections while Cancer assures that home is nice hugs with loved ones. Traditionally, Capricorn is dependable, wants to come in with a paycheck and ensure the bills are paid, while Cancer has something in the kitchen. Of course, we can grow from traditionalism we want to leave behind but every person needs to take care of themselves to some degree. A balanced Capricorn and Cancer both become more well rounded and able to complete numerous domestic and workplace tasks in order to effectively take care of loved ones.

Virgo and Pisces are able to naturally and intuitively take care of needs, heal, and focus on improvement which is very admirable. Virgo takes accountability for physical health, which Pisces can learn to value more. Meanwhile, Pisces is a very hopeful sign with spiritual growth and empathy in mind. Pisces can reflect on Virgo how to be more understanding of those with differing opinions while Virgo assures Pisces not to let their empathy get the best of them and lead them into unfulfilling situations. Pisces can help Virgo give themselves credit where it’s due and put more value on their own emotions. They can call out each other on things they need to be more self aware of and overcome!

Leo and Aquarius embody the rebel and the trend setter, ironically mixing up this identity within each other. Leo wants others approval and acts generously in order to receive it. Aquarius loves humanity at large, wanting to make the world a better place. Leo can learn from Aquarius to see the big picture, view things as more than from the perspective of them and their friends. Aquarius can learn to value the person and intimate more highly from Leo, not run away from love and instead accept it as they learn to love themselves. Fate Falls Upon the Rebel: Horoscopes for the Aquarius New Moon

This Aquarius New Moon falls on the Astrology chart at 15 degrees Aquarius. This is known as a World Point a placement where fated moments reverberate.

Often it’s the path of Aquarians to rebel for good causes. Jackie Robinson, was an an Aquariun who changed the game of baseball forever with his bravery, knowing his actions would make all the difference for those to come.

Remember the book The Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson? It’s quite appropriate that this Aquarius New Moon rings in Chinese New Year and this year it’s the year of the boar.
