WELCOME TO THE BLOG!!

This is an ask blog centered around a fan retelling of Stranger Things with some tweaks made by the mods. Below the cut is rules, info about the story and mods, and our tagging system. Please read these before continuing!

MAIN INFO

Stranger Askblog is an ask blog focused around the TV series Stranger Things, rewritten and retold by fans of the story. While the main part of the story won’t be revealed explicitly just yet, this is an AU going through all the seasons.

This blog is run by currently 3 people:

All of us are minors. Do not be weird and don’t ask for personal information.

RULES AND SUCH

1. First and foremost, do NOT ask NSFW questions at all. While ST deals with some sexual topics, this blog is run by minors and the content should be kept limited.

2. Please don’t spam asks- we will get to every ask we feel comfortable with and want to tell. Some asks may be saved for future plot points.

3. This is an ask blog, not a roleplay blog.

4. Just don’t be weird, have common sense, be respectful.

i know weve been unfortunately very quiet for a long time but there were various things happening in the mods' personal lives that got in the way of the blog. would people be interested in a revamp of this storyline and a continuation of the blog?

To one: What would you think/do/say if you encountered someone who thought the same way you did? with the whole “hating everyone” and “wanting to destroy the world” thing?

One: “Depends. It could be likely they’re trying to play tricks, to set up a trap, but if they were somehow genuine.. I suppose they’d be useful to keep around. If this person even existed.”

to one: is there anything you enjoy about the world?

One: “I suppose it’s been interesting experiencing what a ‘normal’ life is. I get to help Eleven experience that as well, with all the things I never got to see. Sometimes it feels like things are okay.”

One: “But you always remember.”

One: Thanks. I wasn’t exactly going for cute as much as convincing, but I suppose that’s an added bonus, hm?

what have been some of el’s favorite things to experience for the first time outside the lab?

Eleven: “I like how much flavor some foods have. … I really like seeing animals, there is a lot of different kinds. Dogs and cats are very soft when you pet them. … Seeing how much color and sound there is everywhere was difficult to get used to at first, but now I can’t imagine living with how quiet and grey the lab was. … Oh! Getting to pick out and wear clothes that I enjoy was one of the best parts. Normal clothes are very colorful and diverse. … I like seeing people, even if I am not allowed to see many yet. People are all very different, they have different clothes and hair shapes and ways that they talk, no one is ever the same.”

how is eleven doing emotionally atm?

Eleven: “I think I am doing very good! We have been living like this for a while so I am happy. I do still get scared at night, and I have nightmares some times, but other than that things are okay.”

Doesn't Eleven get scared of the spiders you keep?

One: "Eleven seems fond of them. She named them for me."

Do you wish Eleven would call you by Henry or your fake name rather than your number? Won’t her calling you that being back bad memories?

One: "She does use the fake name a lot too, but I don't mind which name she uses. I think every name I have has some bad memories one way or another, so it doesn't matter."

What do you mean by not interested in romance?

[One shrugs.]

One: "I just don't see the appeal. The whole 'romance' thing that people are so obsessed with doesn't make sense to me. And I haven't found anyone attractive anyway, and even if I did, I couldn't trust them enough to let them into my life without fear they'd turn me over to the government."

whered you get the name from?

One: "You guys gave me Oliver a while back, but Miller I came up with on the spot for some documents and it stuck."

what got you interested in cooking/baking? do you enjoy it outside of needing to do so for survival? do you have any hobbies?

One: "Well, I learned how to cook out of necessity, but it is a bit fun. ...As for hobbies, I'm usually either at work or helping Eleven with school. But in my own free time, I do still have my interest in spiders. I keep a few in some terrariums."

One: "Not the first time I've been called queer, but usually its not for my name. I feel like that's arguably one of the more normal things."
