so yeah, reblogging because there was some things wrong, that needed to be changed. 

Iwa|Almost 13 y.o| Fire Clan | Third General (at least in name) (noble)

-Indeed, Hakamas (Iwa’s usual clothes) were for men-only many years ago. But she likes them better than kimonos (she can move, especially run, more easily with them) so she usually wears them. Her uncle gives her special-made hakamas for her so the hakamas can look more femenine  

-Iwa has the title of Third General but since she’s still a minor (and she even inherited this title when she was 8), her uncle is the one behind all the decision taken about the territory she manages or other decisions in general. Meanwhile she takes a lot of classes to officialy work as the third general when she gets older. (But she doesn’t receive sword training, just trains her powers, this is an order from her uncle)

- Her uncle is a fan of entertainers, so many travelers comes by Iwa’s place.

- Her personality is really quiet. But she tries to run away from her house each time a traveler comes by nonetheless (this fact is hiden by her maids(? and soldiers, since they are afraid her uncle-he’s an assshole- can hurt her, they don’t trust him). She doesn’t laughs openly but tends to smile. 

- Her close family died in a supposedly accident (there was a fire out of control in their house). Iwa thinks it was her fault that the fire started (but no)

- Her family had a pacifist thinking  so that’s why she thinks like the most of the neutral clan. She doesn’t like violence, and doesn’t want to be involved in battles.

-Her uncle wants to send her at the occasional battles that takes place with the excuse that she needs to gain experience to be a good general (li es)

- Her family was in bankrupt. They also have really weak powers (Iwa inherited her powers from her grandfather) so they were stronger with the sword and close fights.

-Iwa’s father had many disadvantages about “beating” Iwa’s uncle and inherit the title of “Third general”. But he was named successor because his little brother (Iwa’s uncle) has a bad heart and Iwa’s grandfather decided he could hurt their people. So yeah, that’s why Iwa’s father ended being the third general

- She hates almost all the warm colors (FOR OBVIOUS REASONS). But she can tolerates them in her clothes. And has a big trauma with fire itself.

-  She can’t control her power which is like spontaneous combustion(? She has a power of large range, that mean she can burn pretty bad the things closest to her but then she just scares to death the farthest soldiers (they just get a little burn or just “warms up”).

- When she uses her power her eyes turn orange with a little of red, blue and yellow

- She is known like “The living doll” because her eyes doesn’t have light (she thinks her family’s death is her fault after all). And because she does what her uncle says the most of the time. 

- curious fact: “Iwa” is written with the kanji of “Boulder, rock” in order to connote a firmness of character. And that’s funny because Iwa’s not firm www

AND NOW, for the ones that want to know how a family of the fire clans dies in a FIRE. I’m gonna explain everything below

Ok, everything starts with the fact that Iwa’s father sucked at managing his land. And because he barely sent his people to the war, they lost some benefits (money). The third general started to lose money and worried by his people, he contacted the other generals and send his people with them so they won’t go down with him. 

And this is where Iwa’s uncle appeared. He was bitter because he didn’t inherit the position of general even tho he was better than his big brother (he even has stronger powers- similar to iwa’s) (He disappeared once his brother inherited the position. Many years later he heard about his brother going to bankruptcy and decided to make his move.

Taking advantage that there weren’t soldiers anymore, he sneaked in the property and caused a big fire when all the family was asleep. When the house was almost burned, he called for help in the closest town. 

The people looked for survivors. And  the one finding the only survivor was Iwa’s uncle. He was surprised that Iwa survived but he couldn’t kill her there because someone could have seen and because he was somehow interesed in how she survived. His uncle made her believed she was at fault of the fire and if she didn’t do what he told her, he’ll tell about it to everyone and they will kill her for being a dangerous person. 

Actually, Iwa woke up in the middle of the fire, thanks to her power, she protected herself. But since she woke up to that disaster and she really can’t control her power (it was instinct), she believed she had caused the fire.

Thanks to Iwa’s uncle, they started to gain money and the land was saved, the house was also rebuilt and many people and soldiers returned to their old houses. 

Some years later, Iwa’s uncle got tired of being just “Iwa’s counselor” and wanted more power so he wants to send Iwa to battle, and get rid of her. That’s why she doesn’t receive sword training and he believes that doesn’t matter what she won’t be abled to control her powers because has no confidence and she’s scared of it (and yeah, that would make her an easy target to kill in a battle)

-So I searched and apparently during the feudal era in japan there was the emperor and then the shogun that was like the “second in line”. So I decided to put Illya (Iwa) like the distant shoguns’ niece. But she can also be a “daimyos’ (a general) niece” I don’t really care haha 

- Her personality is really quiet. But she tries to run away from her uncle’s house each time a traveler comes by nonetheless www. She’s a human being so of course she can laugh, get angry and more (she doesn’t have her poker face always)

- Her close family were ronins (their daimyo died). Since they were ronins, their parents doesn’t teach them how to be a samurai, they lived a somehow pacific life so even tho Iwa is from the fire clan she thinks like a neutral clan member. Their parents tried to teach them how to control their powers. Iwa has a big power and she can’t control it so when it awakened she burned her house and killed her family (STRAP IS DEAD, NO ONE CAN PROTECT HER NOW LOL). And then she was adopted by her distant relative. She calls him “uncle”. This motherfucking shogun wants to be more rich and popular so he wants to SEND IWA TO WAR (the battles???)

- Like I already said she thinks like a neutral clan member. “There is still violence because we took the government power by violence. Violence just creates more violence.”  

- She hates almost all the warm colors (FOR OBVIOUS REASONS). But she can tolerates them in her clothes. And has a big trauma with blood and fire itself.

- When she uses her power (that is like spontaneous combustion(? She turns into ashes everything close to her, withing a range of 15 meters ), her eyes turn orange with a little of red, blue and yellow

- She is ironically called “The Ice princess” because her eyes doesn’t have light (she killed her family, c’mon)
