happy pride! to celebrate i’m replaying persona 5 royal this month and thinking about joker and akechi’s weird homoerotic relationship!

i’ve been thinking about the pm transfer recently and i kinda want to go into each character, how likely they are to get chosen and why (also slight 129.5 spoilers)

•Atsushi: my number one pick. narratively it would be very interesting and i think sskk being in the same organization would be fun to see. mori would want another team like skk so i could see him picking atsushi. (plus there’s the whole being alone in london thing)

•Tanizaki: very likely to be chosen. there’s been multiple instances of them foreshadowing him being picked, like mentions of his ability being suited for the mafia, him saying he would transfer instead of yosano, etc. could be interesting for his character as well

•Dazai: likely, but at the same time i feel it won’t happen. mori definitely wants dazai back in the mafia. let me know your thoughts on this!

•Kyouka: i doubt it. no matter how much kouyou likes her, she ultimately wants the best for her and will likely convince them not to pick kyouka. i just don’t think mori would pick her either

•Yosano: won’t happen. mori wants her back but fukuzawa would never let that happen no matter what

•Ranpo: unlikely. i don’t think the mafia will go after him because they would rather value skill users over strategists

•Kenji: it’s possible. he has a strong skill and the fact that it’s unexpected would be more impactful. kenji hasn’t had many moments to shine so an arc like this could give his character more depth

•Kunikida: i see absolutely no reason for kunikida to transfer idk

•No one: mori calls off the deal, possible i suppose

if anyone has any thoughts about this i would love to discuss 🙏
