CLOSING STRATBURY
after a lot of deliberating, and as much as it pains me, we are going to be CLOSING STRATBURY, atleast until finals season is over for people. I’ve put a lot of work into stratbury, but since our opening its felt like its not meant to happen. we opened at an insanely high membership count, on opening day we went from 15 applicants to upwards around forty, which was amazing. but during that same day, i lost my coadmin I was relying on to help me as larger groups can be a little overwhelming at times. so, despite being utterly exhausted in the first few days, i manged to find some pretty awesome coadmins, which i thought meant it was going to work out, then I did an activity check. eight people, which I anticipated, because ive admined roleplays that had a lot of members right out of the gate, and some dropping is part of it. but this week, activity has gone from steady, to nearly nonexistent except for the same few people. when I started seeing the dash going hours without moving, i was starting to feel a little queasy about it. id seen this before, but i didnt want it to happen because id worked so hard on it. but then I logged on today, and saw that I was about to activity check sixteen more people, with an admining that decided to leave as well. with little drive to attempt to revive it at the moment, ive decided to close stratbury, with the intent to hopefully reopen at a later point, when its not finals for people. ive grown really fond of a lot of you so please, if youd like to keep in contact get ahold of me over on hazclnut !! i love you guys!
