She makes a great point... Jet wants Sonic so bad. He's down catastrophic. But he also hates him and wants to one up him. Metal ALSO hates Sonic and wants to one up him. They can both fly. Jet is low key a criminal. Metal needs someone who gives him a sense of self and purpose outside of what he was built and programmed to be. He also looks a lot like Espio in a lot of ways. This absolutely started as revenge dating. Metal gets Sonic's ex (Metal doesn't know Sonic doesn't know), and Jet gets the guy who was SPECIFICALLY created to one up his ex. Shit happens and oh no they fall in love.

Holy shit this is amazing. I think you actually cooked with this, anon. I NOW MUST SEE JET ATTEMPT TO SMOOCH THE ROBOT!!

Also I LOVE how this keeps going as like ‘revenge on my ex’, and Sonic has no clue about any of this. He didn’t even know they were a ‘couple’. Probably doesn’t even realize Jet is trying to get at him. 😂
