you walk down a flower lined path, the smooth stones indented with the marks of the curious past and find a small covered wagon selling flowers , a blue notecard stained at the corners with dirt resting on the countertop telling any passersby “be back soon!” . you wonder how long it’s truly been... the paint on the old wagon is scratched and weather worn, the once bold calligraphic lettering advertising long lost to the elements . pots of flowers surround the wagon , a stack of tissue paper with small ribbons expertly tied litter every flat surface .
as you walk further into the forest the foliage seems to grow taller and take over the empty space around you, suffocating the air with the heavy smell of earth, until you reach a barricaded entrance of a disused greenhouse , the glass panes crisscrossed with algae, liverworts and moss, obscuring the interior with a mottled green light .
it appears you’ve found a lost space , just for you.
