“Like this, doll?” Your husband Suguru hummed as he worked your fancy hair cream into your scalp. You sighed in relief— he was great at this.
“It’s perfect, I’m feeling very relaxed.” He chuckled, continuing to massage your scalp. “I’ll put some on yours too.” You decided. Suguru raised an eyebrow.
“Really? You never let me use your fancy stuff despite me paying for it all.” You snorted, turning around and taking the container out of his hand so you could return the favor.
You began to work the cream through his dark locks. “Consider this your one time opportunity.”
After your shower, you and Suguru got dried off and dressed. The two of you sat on the bed, watching a show and indulging in dessert while you brushed Suguru’s hair. He’d already done yours and even put it in a braid for you the best he could.
“You know, you don’t have to do this. I could do it myself.” He reminded you, you hummed, brushing a piece of hair from his face.
“Yes, I know. But I’m your wife, Sugu, and I like doing it.” You told him. “Plus, I take great pride in your hair.”
“I can tell. I think you take more pride in it than me and I’m the one who grew it out.” He chuckled, turning around to gently take the brush from your hand and press a kiss to your plush lips. “Let’s get to bed, hm?”
As soon as he suggested that a yawn slipped through your lips. “Yeah. Go put the bowls in the sink, I’ll be waiting.” Suguru did as you said, you watched him disappear down the hall before you pulled your tightly tucked in comforter up and crawled under it.
Suguru came back in the blink of an eye, you could feel his larger frame sliding into the bed beside you. He immediately pulled you in closer with his cold ass arm. You were halfway on your way to bed, but you still had to do a bit of complaining.
“Your hands are ice cold.” You whined.
Suguru chuckled. “Thankfully I have you to keep warm.”

The sun is streaming through the kitchen windows, the smell of fresh coffee and pancakes is filling the air, and you are currently standing at the stove, flipping a slightly burnt blueberry pancake.
Sukuna is sitting at the kitchen island. He’s fresh out of the shower, wearing nothing but a pair of low-hanging gray sweatpants, his damp pink hair falling into his eyes. He’s scrolling through his phone, sipping his black coffee, completely relaxed.
“Hey,” you say, not looking away from the frying pan. “Can you grab the syrup from the pantry?”
“Yeah, I got it babe.” Sukuna rumbles. He stands up, his massive frame easily reaching the top shelf of the pantry. He sets the bottle on the counter next to you, leaning in to press a lingering, warm kiss to your bare shoulder. “Smells good.”
“Thanks, babe,” you smile, leaning into his touch.
It’s a normal morning. A perfectly domestic, quiet morning. And then, the patter of tiny, bare feet echoes down the hallway.
Yuji waddles into the kitchen. He’s wearing his favorite dinosaur pajamas, his spiky pink hair sticking up in every possible direction. He’s clutching an empty plastic sippy cup in one chubby hand, looking incredibly serious for a toddler who just woke up.
He stops in the middle of the kitchen floor. He looks at you. He looks at Sukuna.
Then, he takes a deep breath, puffs out his little chest, and yells, “Babe!”
You freeze. The spatula in your hand halts mid-air. Sukuna stops mid-sip of his coffee. He slowly lowers the mug, his eyes blinking in confusion.
“Did he just…” you whisper, slowly turning your head to look at your husband.
“There’s no way,” Sukuna mutters, his brow furrowing. He looks down at the two-year-old. “What did you say, little man?”
Yuji marches over to Sukuna. He stops right at his father’s bare feet, tilts his head all the way back to look up at the towering 6’4” wall of muscle, and holds up his empty sippy cup.
“Babe,” Yuji says, his voice completely clear and demanding. “Juice. Pwease.”
Sukuna’s jaw drops.
You slap a hand over your mouth, your eyes going wide. “Oh my god.”
“Did you…” Sukuna stammers, looking from Yuji to you, completely bewildered. “Did he just call me babe?”
“He definitely just called you babe,” you wheeze, a laugh bubbling up in your throat.
Yuji, growing impatient with the lack of service, turns his attention to you. He waddles over to the stove, tugging on the hem of your pajama shorts.
“Babe,” Yuji insists, pointing a chubby finger at the frying pan. “Pancake.”
A loud, booming bark of laughter erupts from your husbands chest. He throws his head back, his massive shoulders shaking as he braces his hands on the kitchen island. “Holy shit,” he wheezes.
“It’s not funny!” you scold, though you are biting your lip so hard to keep from laughing that it actually hurts. “He’s going to go to daycare and call his teachers babe!”
“The kid’s got swagger, what can I say?” Sukuna laughs, wiping his eyes. He crouches down, bringing himself to Yuji’s eye level. “Hey. Buddy. Who am I?”
Yuji looks at him like it’s the stupidest question in the world. He reaches out, patting Sukuna’s tattooed cheek with a sticky hand. “Babe.”
Sukuna bites his fist, his face turning red from the effort of holding in another hysterical laugh. “Fuck, that’s good.”
“Stop swearing!” you hiss, swatting Sukuna’s shoulder with the spatula. You kneel down next to him, putting on your most serious, gentle mom-face. “Yuji, sweetie, look at me.”
Yuji blinks his big, golden eyes at you. “Yeah?”
You let out a long groan, dropping your head into your hands. Sukuna is practically vibrating next to you, completely useless.
“No, baby,” you say, looking back up. You point to yourself. “I am Mama. Ma-ma.”
Yuji stares at you.
You point to Sukuna, who is currently trying to compose his face into something resembling a responsible parent. “And he is Dada. Da-da. Not babe.”
Yuji looks at Sukuna. He looks at you. His little eyebrows furrow in deep toddler concentration. He’s processing the information. You can practically see the gears turning in his head.
“Mama,” Yuji says slowly, pointing at you.
“Yes!” you cheer, clapping your hands. “Good boy!”
Yuji then points at Sukuna. “Dada.”
“Exactly,” Sukuna nods, looking incredibly proud. “Nailed it, little man.”
Yuji smiles, a massive, gummy grin that lights up his entire face. He looks thrilled with himself. He holds up his sippy cup again, looking right at Sukuna.
“Dada babe! Juice!”
“I give up,” you sigh, standing back up and walking over to the fridge to get the apple juice. “We’re raising a tiny frat boy. This is entirely your fault.”
“My fault?!” Sukuna gasps from the floor, trying to catch his breath. “How is this my fault?!”
“Because you call me babe every five seconds!” you argue, pouring juice into the plastic cup. “You never use my actual name! You never call me mama! He literally thinks ‘babe’ is a universal pronoun!”
“You call me babe too!” Sukuna defends himself, sitting up and resting his arms on his knees. He looks entirely too amused by the situation. “I haven’t heard you call me ‘dada’ unless we’re in the bedroom, and even then—”
“RYOMEN SUKUNA!” you shriek, your face flushing a shade of red as you shove the sippy cup into his chest. “Not in front of the child!”
“What? He doesn’t know what that means,” Sukuna smirks, standing up and effortlessly pulling you by the waist until your back is flush against his chest. He rests his chin on top of your head, wrapping his arms around you.
Yuji happily takes his juice, taking a long sip before waddling over to the living room to watch his cartoons, completely oblivious to the absolute crisis he just caused.
“We have to actively start calling each other Mama and Dada around him. Seriously. I am not having my two-year-old walk around the grocery store yelling ‘babe’ at me.”
“Alright, alright,” Sukuna chuckles, his chest vibrating against your back. He presses a soft kiss to your hair. “We’ll be better. Strictly Mama and Dada from now on.”
“Promise?” you ask, turning your head to look up at him.
“Yes, mommy..” he laughs, kissing your cheek. You groan, elbowing him hard in the ribs. “I hate you.”

𐙚 Blackleg Sanji x Fem!Reader 𖹭 wc: 2.1k - wholesome fluff & slight humor ⸝⸝ friends to lovers!
— Late night cooking turns into a sweet confession!
Song: Butterflies by Michael Jackson
WARNINGS: language/slight cursing ⸝⸝ mentions of food/baking ⸝⸝ I didn't proofread it fully SO I'M SORRY IF IT'S RUSHED ⸝⸝ a kiss scene!
💭Rose's Note: I cooked pancakes 2 times this week and had to rearranged this for it. THIS TOOK ME MONTHS TO GET OUT OF MY DRAFTS.
𝓢ANJI IS DEEPLY in love with you. It wasn’t because of his usual manner, which is being flirtatious and obsessed with every woman he sees. There was more to it than that. It’s something different when it comes to you. Every time you are around, his whole body stops processing. Whenever you smile and drift your attention towards him, he can’t help but feel like time has stopped, and both of you are the only people existing. Everything you do makes him speechless. From your kind personality to your beauty, he adores you so much.
As Sanji was in the kitchen preparing the next meal of the day, which was suspiciously your favorite meal. Oh no. He was so busy thinking about you that he made it in an instant. He dropped whatever he was holding, which was a knife, onto the counter. The blonde man’s hands reached to his hair as he let out a stressed sigh.
“Shit,” Sanji cursed under his breath.
“Sanji?” His body stiffens from already recognizing your calm, polite voice.
“Yes, my love?” He questions as he turns to face you.
“Zoro said that he wants more sake. Is there any more left?” Sanji’s eyebrows furrow out of anger before he lets out a sigh.
“That moss-head can get it himself.” But Sanji already picked up the bottle despite talking badly about the swordsman a second ago. When he gave it to you, his fingers lingered on yours a little bit longer than expected before letting go of the bottle.
Sanji could’ve sworn that his heart was about to beat right out his chest. He noticed how your eyes slightly widened and your cheeks turned into a brighter shade of pink. Him on the other hand, was shaking but hiding it by placing it in his trouser pockets.
“T-thanks!” You stuttered a bit before forcing it out. Sanji nodded, trying to be casual, which obviously didn’t work well. Even when Sanji tried to brush it off, the whole crew’s attention was on you two. They already noticed it. They always had.
The crew watched as Sanji fumbled on the spot, and the shyness brushed past you, which earned grins, nods, and whispers from everyone around. As you walked away from the kitchen to deliver the sake to the grumpy green-haired man, everyone exclaimed teasingly.
“You’re blushing, Sanji,” Nami teased, which made Sanji’s hands shake.
“Look at that! Y/n has really done it for him!” A chuckle escaped from Franky.
“Why are you guys only talking about Sanji?” Robin interrupts,
“Thank you, Robin-dear! – Wait – what?” Sanji looked at Robin confusedly.
“You guys should also question the other victim. She was stuttering.” Robin grinned before taking a sip of her lemonade, which made Sanji’s ears warm up.
“Actually, that was a good one, Robin!” Ussop cackled.
“Oh, shut it, Ussop!” Everyone could’ve sworn they saw him grow taller with spikey teeth, but Sanji turned back to the counter and continued fixing everyone's plates.
A FEW HOURS LATER – 11:28 P.M
You tiptoed into the kitchen, hoping the creaky floor wouldn’t alarm everyone, but once you turned the corner, you jumped back in surprise.
“Y/n-dear, are you okay?!” Sanji’s voice was higher than he intended it to be. “What are you doing here this late?”
“I was trying to get a late-night snack. I’m sorry!” You covered your mouth just in case your laugh becomes louder. Sanji gave a small smile.
“What would you like, my love?” The man’s hand already reached towards the refrigerator door.
“I’m not exactly sure what I want, but I’m craving for something sweet!” You leaned over the island counter.
“Alright! I will surprise you with something that will fill your stomach.” The corner of your lips quirked as you watched him get the ingredients from the fridge.
“Would you maybe…” You stretched the word ‘maybe’ longer then intended, “teach me how to cook along the way?”
You saw the man’s eyes light up immediately in surprise and amazement. “I would be glad to teach you, love.”
“That means you’ll have to tell me what you’re making.” You watched the blonde-haired man grab the flour, egg carton, and milk from the fridge and place them on the counter.
“Why don’t you be surprised? I’ll tell you once we get prepared to cook it.”
“Fine.” You say as you drift your attention to the window. Once he grabbed the bowl and spatula, he turned to face you.
“Are you ready?” He questioned as a bright smile appeared on his face. You nodded eagerly until you realized how fast it was.
“Yep. I’m ready!” Sanji then added the amount of flour and told you how many eggs you could crack. You took an egg from the carton, pressed it on the counter a little roughly until you heard it crack, and spread the shell apart. You watched as the egg yolk fell into the bowl before the blonde chef grabbed the spatula, which stopped you in your tracks.
“Let me add milk.” Sanji took the milk carton, poured the right amount, closed the lid, and put it in the fridge. The cook then moved aside so you could stir.
As you were stirring the batter, the chef pulled the bacon from its clear wrapping and placed it in the pan. “I won’t let you do this because I don’t want the grease to pop at you.” You nodded before continuing your movement. Your movements were steady and precise as you were stirring the batter.
After Sanji checked the bacon strips in the pan, his attention drifted to you. “You're doing very well, my sweet.” Your lips curved from his compliment before stopping your tracks. “Oh, wait. It still needs to mix with vanilla.” Sanji grabbed the vanilla extract, dipped a few into the bowl, and moved so you could stir.
The chef went back to his original position to flip the bacon and place the rest on the plate. Then Sanji went to the fridge and grabbed the margarine before closing the door. Once he grabbed the butter knife, sliced the right amount of the smooth butter, and placed it on the pan effortlessly.
“I feel like I know what you’re doing, and it’s kind of too late to make it.” You giggled.
“It’s not a lot of battery. It’s only enough for a few.”
“And this is supposed to be a snack?”
“It’s enough to fill your stomach.” The chef smiled, making you mirror it.
“Sure. This will definitely fill me in the morning as well.” You poured the batter into the pan.
“And I thought you said that you wanted me to teach you how to cook,” Sanji remarked as he crossed his arms.
“Maybe you should’ve thought that I wanted to spend time with you.” You glanced at him before grabbing the spatula.
TEN MINUTES LATER
Sanji placed the golden, fluffy pancakes onto your plate along with the bacon. Your eyes lit up as you could feel your mouth watering.
“This looks so good,” you said, licking the corner of your lips.
“It is for you.” Sanji placed the plate across the island counter. You walked around the counter, but before you could sit down, Sanji, like a gentleman he is, moved the chair back enough for you to pass by. “My lady,” He gestured his hand out.
“You didn’t have to do that, Sanji,” You say as you drift your attention to him.
“But I wanted to” The chef gave a soft smile, making you mirror it before sitting in the chair. The man pushed the chair in enough for you to reach the counter, then he walked around the other side of the island.
Sanji watched as you used the side of your fork to cut off a slice of the fluffy pancake before pressing it into your mouth. He smiled once he heard a satisfied sound from you.
“This is so good.” You closed your eyes in satisfaction. “Thank you so much, Sanji!”
“Anything for you, my lady.” Sanji tilted his head in confusion as he noticed you shifting in your chair while looking everywhere else but his face. He brushed it off before he turned to face the counter.
Sanji started to overthink. Everything he was thinking about led straight to you, making you the answer to everything. His train of thought, daydreams, his wishes, and his future. Even if it does hurt his chest, he really wants to be there for you. Even if you don’t accept his confession, it was worth risking to express himself.
“Y/n, I have something to tell you,” he says, making you pause your movements. You had your attention on him, which made him even more nervous about saying how he felt. “Uhm,” He stared into your eyes as he swallowed the lump in his throat. “Never mind. It’s nothing.” Sanji faced the dishes and started rolling up his sleeves.
“What was it?” You questioned as you stood beside him.
“It’s nothing to worry about. And it probably would've ruined this moment anyway.”
“Sanji…” You crossed your arms, leaving your elbow at the edge of the counter. “I know something is up. Please tell me.” Oh, how could he ignore it? Especially when you are asking nicely. But he was scared. Scared of destroying your friendship because nine times out of ten, you might not see him the same way he sees you.
“It’s just…” Sanji’s fingers held a small grip on the edge of the sink. “I’m scared that what I would say would make you uncomfortable and might not see me the same.”
“It wouldn’t hurt to tell, ‘cause you never know how I would react.” Your comforting words made him feel a little better, but he was still very anxious.
Sanji let out a sigh and removed his gloves before placing them aside. His eyes drifted towards the floor before looking into your confused eyes. “Y/n, I am in love with you.” He finally says, making your eyes widen.
“I am in love with you, and I always have ever since I met you. I fell in love with you the moment I first laid eyes on you. I was attracted to your beauty from the inside and out. Before you joined the Strawhats, you helped out your village and showed how much you care about them, even if they didn’t believe that you could save them. You were independent and declined my offer when I tried reaching out a hand to help.”
You felt your eyes watering from his words, “I felt crazy when I couldn’t help out. Luffy had to stop me since he said it was your fight and your decision. But you stopped them even when you were really badly injured. Your beauty leaves me breathless. Every time I look into your eyes, it’s always so gentle, like it’s welcoming me home. Every time you laugh, I can’t help but feel warmth. And every time you help out the people around you, my heart always feels at ease.”
Sanji paused for a moment as he was trying to find anything else to say because he had a whole list, but that would take a million years even to finish explaining. “I know that you probably won’t feel the same because of how I act towards everyone. Even the thought of you being with me sounds impossible, you know? Not in a bad way, but impossible since I am way under your league-”
“Sanji,” You interrupted him. You stepped closer, making him freeze on the spot. Sanji could already feel his hands becoming sweaty and his heart thumping against his chest.
Your hand reached to his cheek, thumb brushing against his skin before pressing your lips against his. Right then and there, he felt like his fireworks exploded around him. Was this real? It took Sanji a few seconds to register what had happened before he leaned into the kiss. You felt one of his hands wrap around your waist, and the other cupping your cheek.
The kiss started off slow before building with more tension. You felt his soft lips move in sync with yours as his hands explored your curves, and your fingers locked in his blonde hair. He could taste the sweetness from the pancake and the syrup remiainings on your lips. After a minute, you pulled back, and your eyes fluttered open. He was speechless, breathing heavily from the adrenaline.
“Wha – what was that?” He was cut off from his heavy breathing.
Your lips curved into a light smile. “Your answer.”
“Do that again, and I will go crazy-” And you interrupted him with another kiss. His face turned red as his lips parted. “I’m being serious!” You giggled at his reaction.
“Sanji, I love you too. I have been in love with you for a while now, and I just thought you only saw me the same way you see Nami and Robin.”
“You don’t have to worry about that, my love.” He lifted your hand and kissed the back of it tenderly. “You are the only one I have eyes for.”
Your fingers dance over the large, pale ‘X’ that stretches across Suguru’s chest. He glances at you, watching the way you carefully trace your fingers over the surface of the scar, worried you may hurt him.
“I’m not made of glass, you know,” he chuckles, large hand coming to rest on the back of your head as if to cradle it as you stare at his scar in what he hopes to be awe. You roll your eyes, moving to press your lips against his scar.
Suguru’s breath hitches; his eyes stay focused on your lips as they slowly pull away from his chest. Your thumb moves to caress the healed tissue while you tilt your head to look up at him, “You’re so brave, y’know that?”
Your words ring in his ears. Brave.
“You’re delusional.” He quips back, a smirk creeping onto his face to hide the subtle shame bubbling beneath his skin.
“I’m serious,” you continue, “You’ve been through so much, Sugu, you’re the bravest person I know.” Suguru rolls his eyes, ignoring the way his lip trembles as he replies, “Yeah, yeah, just go to sleep.”
You nuzzle closer into his side, “You were a child up against a grown man, Sugu. No one blames you.” You said it so casually, as if it were a known fact, but to Suguru? It was as if he were hearing those words for the first time.
“I know that.”
“Do you?” You lifted your head, raising a brow at him. He pushed your face away with a sigh, “Just go back to what you were doing. It felt nice.”
You hummed, thumb soothing over his scar once more. “It kind of makes you look hot — hotter, I mean, like a warrior or something.” You mumbled, eyes already fluttering shut.
Suguru hummed, “Yeah?” hand moving to soothe over your back as he lulled you to sleep.
You replied sleepily, “Yeah. It reminds me to be thankful for you — I mean, I always am — but thankful that you survived the that day and all the days after.”
The room eventually fell silent, aside from your rhythmic breathing as sleep claimed you. His hand stilled on your back as stared at the top of your head, feeling your chest rise and fall with every breath.
Thankful.
You were thankful for him.
For years, Suguru had seen that scar as a tarnish, it had been an ugly reminder of how weak he had been — how he had failed her.
But you looked at it from a different perspective.
You saw it as him overcoming everything that had been thrown at him. You didn't see that weak version of himself he sees, no, you saw someone who was brave enough to continue on even after what he went through.
His hand brushed absentmindedly over the scar. He pressed his lips to your hairline and muttered, “You’re unbelievable,” and a smile etched it's way onto his face.
You were still curled up next to him, shifting in your sleep. Suguru pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
And for the first time in what felt like years, Suguru felt the weight of his grief lessen.
suguru's hair always gets caught on you ! 。°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°。
his hair is everywhere.
it’s on your pillow in the morning, tangled in the bristles of your hairbrush, stuck to the sleeve of your sweater when you pull it off. and more often than not, it’s caught in your jewellery—thin strands of black silk wound tight around the chain of your necklace, looped through the tiny hoop of your earring, knotted around the clasp of your bracelet like it’s trying to keep you tethered to him.
you’re on the couch when it happens again. he’s sitting on the floor between your legs while you scroll through your phone, and you lean forward to kiss the top of his head without thinking. the second your necklace dips, you feel it snag.
“shit—hold on,” you mutter, already reaching for the chain. geto doesn’t move. just tilts his head slightly, like he’s used to this by now.
“what’d i catch this time?”
“the little heart one. again.” you try to work the strand free, but it’s looped too tight. “this is the third time this week. your hair’s a menace.”
he hums, low and unbothered. “you say that like it’s my fault.”
“it is your fault. you’re the one who refuses to tie it up at home.”
“you said you liked it down.”
“i do. i also like not having to perform surgery on my jewelry every night.”
geto reaches up without looking, his fingers finding your wrist, guiding your hand away. “leave it. i’ll get it later.”
“you’ll forget.”
“i won’t.”
you sigh, leaning back against the couch. a few minutes pass. then you shift, trying to get more comfortable, and your ass lands squarely on a thick lock of his hair that’s fanned out across the cushion.
“ow—fuck,” he hisses, jerking forward. “you’re on it again.”
you lift up immediately. “sorry! i didn’t see it.”
he twists around to look at you, one eyebrow raised. “you never see it. it’s like you have a sixth sense for finding the exact strand that’s gonna make me bald.”
“maybe your hair’s trying to escape,” you say, fighting a smile. “maybe it’s tired of being sat on.”
geto stares at you for a long moment. then he stands, towering over you, and leans down until his face is inches from yours. his hair falls forward, a curtain of black that brushes your cheeks, your shoulders, your chest.
“if it wanted to escape,” he murmurs, voice low, “it wouldn’t keep getting caught on you.”
you swallow. “that was weirdly romantic.”
“wasn’t trying to be.” he kisses you once, slow and deep, then pulls back just enough to speak against your lips. “now move over. i’m sitting up there with you, and if you sit on my hair again, i’m making you braid it.”
“deal,” you say, already scooting aside.
he settles beside you, one arm slung around your shoulders, and you spend the rest of the night carefully avoiding every strand that spills across the cushions—mostly. you only sit on it twice more. he doesn’t complain either time.
dad!geto loves taking pictures, especially pictures of you, your baby, the three of you—anything at this point. the camera that he bought when you two moved in together years ago is full of candid shots where you look beautiful and your sweet baby is beaming.
suguru loves taking the baby to print out the pictures he took over the week, your child's face lights up every time suguru shows him a picture that includes you. on his way home, he takes more pictures with the baby, and by the time he gets home, his camera has plenty of new photos.
he places your bundle of joy down on the living room floor and sits right next to your child. placing the baby's photo album on top of the chabudai, he shows the pictures to the baby before pasting them and writing a small, brief epigraph or reflection.
after some more writing and decorating the album, he closes it carefully, placing your little angel on his lap. they play together, both of them laughing and enjoying themselves as the afternoon passes by. a few minutes later, you arrive home with a few grocery bags, stopping quietly in the living room entrance and admiring them.
you softly approach them and sit down. "hi there," you say in a soft tone of voice and stroke the baby's cheek. geto smiles as he looks at you, slowly admiring your features as he murmurs a soft "hi pretty," tucking a strand of hair behind your ear with his free hand.
the baby babbles when aware of your presence and reaches his arms toward you, you smile and pick up the little human, who gives you a gummy smile. you two are giggling until you hear a snap, you turn to see suguru has taken yet another picture.
you smile, looking into his eyes that are full of love toward your little family. a rush of emotions runs through your whole body. "i love you both so much," suguru murmurs. you can't help but get emotional. hoping this moment will last forever, you pull the two of them into a hug, falling asleep as the sun went down.
