It's always weird when a gaming company decides to remake a game that can already be played on modern platforms instead of remaking a game from the same series that's stuck on a 20 years old console.

Like the Rayman Legends remake looks cool but also... Rayman 2 and 3 are only available in emulators, while you can still spend money to buy the original Legends. And the remake's deluxe edition contains a port of Origins... nothing makes sense.

There will never be another game like Final Fantasy XV because it's a whole ass triple A title that stumbled backwards into accurately portraying the intense boredom and low level existential crisis of going on a roadtrip with your college friends. This was accomplished by having it stuck in development hell for ten years.

It's an open world game that actively sucks to explore. The clock on the dashboard works in game even though you literally cannot see it without mods. There's whole swathes of interesting locations that are alluded to but the primary setting is the empty plains of midwest america. There's bespoke animations for your party members complaining about a rock in their shoe. The entire magic system is completely inscrutable. It has maybe the most masterful emotional storytelling through sheer UI choices that I have ever seen in a video game. We had to ask one of the creative heads of the project to leave seven years into development because he got really invested in making the game a musical.

It's like lightning in a bottle, but way less awe-inspiring. Tempest in an empty mayo jar.

My latest addition to the Pokekami series! Solgaleo and Lunala have been requested many times at events so I finally got around to paint them. At first I was a little worried their colour scheme might not fit this style too well but I decided to just trust my experience and the process. And I'm glad I did! I really like the way this one turned out!

State of Play was legitimately so much better than I expected it to be. I mostly just wanted more info about Control Resonant and I got it, but there were quite a few games that intrigued me.

I've never really cared about God of War but I kinda wanna go and buy the previous games now just so I can play the new one and understand the story?

Silent Hill Townfall looks exactly like what I would want from a horror game, way more than the Silent Hill 2 remake.

Marvel Tōkon still looks stunning as hell.

Kemuri looks really intriguing and I would like to know more!

The Lost Wild seems really cool, especially since Jurassic Park Survival is still MIA.

Tomb Raider remake is looking really good too.

Bancho the Chef really makes me wanna play Dave the Diver...
