When nobu and shin see shion go in yasus room , they were all anxious about because nana s reaction .

but nobu has replied “dont say that! She is marrying ren!” Mmmmso i think now that her true love is yasu.. poor ren😢

…And so many clues in the story , example in the chapter 69 whe yasu said thanks nana and that “thanku” was so beautiful for her she cried for the happy .. so may chapters after shion say to misato that a “thank you“ sometime is more rewarding than “i love u” if it comes from the person we love more

I know , ren has made SO MANY mistakes and in know yasu Is perfect but I believed that nana and ren were soulmates no matter what …happened . I so sad fo ren… i know.. its crazy, yasu and nana are so special but i still believed that nana x ren was more , no matter what.. till now 😮‍💨

Ren is my favorite character in nana. that’s why he is to dear to me .. my only hope is that his love is reciprocated by nana.. for real

This such a good question and I actually think about it alot. For me, I think she loved ren at the start of their relationship, but when he left for Tokyo her love for him changed and shifted onto yasu. Whenever nana had an emotional issue she'd run to yasu immediately, we rarely see her open up to ren once they reunited, but we always see her being vulnerable and honest with yasu. She also gets sad when she realizes the reason yasu has never made any romantic moves on her is because she's "ren's girl." And the only reason she begins taking the process of finalizing her marriage with ren seriously is because she walked in on yasu having a "date" with miu and realized that he is moving on from her. I feel like the reason nana and ren stayed together was because of their mutual obsession for each other and their deep history with one another. I personally think ren truly was in love with nana, but after he left for Tokyo I think nana's love for him drastically changed. And it makes sense considering ren is eager to take all the next relationship steps with nana but nana on the other hand is very reluctant and maybe that's because she was secretly hoping that yasu would make a move on her and steal her away from ren. It's evident in the later chapters she wants him to yet, he never does so she settles for her current situation with ren.

This is not well thought out or written 😭I just HAD to get this off my mind. It's really hard to tell with nana though so I'm not fully confident in who she loves more. She loves them both obviously but like ren was her first kiss, first love and first time and the only man she's ever been romantically with, so she's ALWAYS going to have that love and connection with ren. It's confusing and wish Ai played into her feelings for yasu and ren more idk

I really love nana and hachi together but strictly as friends. Present nana is very possessive and and although she loves hachi, she refers to her as an object alot which is not healthy and also why she doesn't like takumi. Her and takumi have similar possessive views about hachi. Nana setting hachi up with nobu is similar to takumi telling hachi he'd take care of her baby. They both do it for their own selfish gain to be able to have a hold on hachi. Present Hachi is never fully secure in her relationships and hides much of herself from everyone in her life. That's also unhealthy. Their romantic pairing in the present just would not work out despite them both loving each other, because they do not know how to properly love.

In the timeskip however, I think a romantic relationship between the two would be amazing. Because they've both grown as people and realize the issues they have, they've matured and from what we see nana no longer has a possessive outlook on her love for hachi. And hachi seems more secure and doesn't depend on love to fill her void.

I overall love nana and hachi together of course, but I also love the storyline and see the faults in their current friendship. I don't think they would transcribe well in a romantic relationship which is why I don't ship them. It's more than them just looking cute together for me, its about the functionality of their relationship too.

The nana Fandom can honestly be so dense it hurts. They want so badly for nana to a wlw when its not. Despite its undertones, it's not a Girl love story. It's not solely about nana or hachi,it's a manga about many situations, many characters and many story lines. Their our main characters of course, but we also have different character plot lines intermingled with their story

Extremely Unpopular opinion but I don't think the men in nana are as bad as people make them out to be...I actually really like most the male characters in nana. Of course we have characters like shoji and takumi but I feel like they shouldn't be the overall representation of the rest of the male characters.

The more I read nana, the more I realize hachi and takumi actually suit each other. Hachi hides alot of herself from guys she likes, like when she told nobu she was "scared he'd hate who she really was" when he declared his love for her. She does it with nana too because she cares deeply about nana's perception of her. She hides her true personality in fear others will realize who she truly is and will end up hating her, and leaving her. But with takumi she doesn't have to do that, it's very clear that hachi isn't the innocent and naive girl she pretends to be. She said it herself, and with takmi she's able to be the real her because she knows he will not judge her. Why won't he judge her? Because she also knows the horrible person takumi is and doesn't judge him. They simply accept each others shortcomings and move on, hachi accepts the fact he's abusive and a cheater and takumi accepts the fact hachi is a cunning "handful." No woman would wholeheartedly accept takumi and his behavior, just like how hachi made herself believe nobody would wholeheartedly accept her bad qualities. I think they're a horrible couple of course but, looking at it from that standpoint it makes it clear on why she stays with him despite all his mistreatment towards her. It's also alot of emotional manipulation on takumi's part on why she stays, but besides that, the main reason for them being together in my opinion is their ability to look past each other's bad ways without casting judgement. Horrible couple, but they have the semi right idea i guess.

Ren is a sweet thoughtful lover despite his faults. He knew how much hachi meant to nana, so he went and bought her a wedding ring to match the one hachi had.

Their relationship is so painful because he was the first man to ever verbally tell her he loves her. Something she mentioned no man had ever told her before.

I'm sorry, I'm so painfully in my hachi and nana feelings. I just sit back and think, what if instead of running away to yasu's house when takumi exposed her of being pregnant, nana went back to their home with nobu and they spoke to hachi. Like imagine how different the outcome would've been if nana had just went home with nobu to talk to hachi. Especially, since she solely decided to be with takumi because he was the only one their to take care of her in that moment. Like what if nana was their to take care of her instead, how would their relationship differ..

I don't ship nana and hachi romantically because I find nana to have similar thoughts to takumi about hachi(yes i will explain in detail in another post, don't stone me yet). But they were really platonic soulmates, they were each others person. They're more similar than they seem, they get each other in a way other characters in the series don't get them. They're insecurities and constant feelings of loneliness within their friendship was their downfall. I wish they had looked to each other more when issues had arised, instead of running away from each other.

Who are the worst male characters in nana and why is it shoji and takumi?

I think shoji is the worst of the two however. He's very undercover and sneaky with his behavior. He plays the nice guy trope very well. We know takumi is bad from the start and he doesn't hide it. It's easy to hate takumi from the start because it's painfully obvious how much of a disgusting person he is. Shoji on the other hand plays his nice guy act pretty well. It's clear somethings off about him but it's hard to pin point what it is.

doing my thoughts on nobu next, he's my favorite male character in the series. The villainous view he has in the Fandom saddens me, especially because he's literally just hachi as a guy. Not an "assaulter," not a coward and not a bad guy. Just hachi as a boy. But maybe because he's a guy he gets those negative attributes..
