Spider character that wraps you in a silk cocoon because they noticed you were cold and wanted to keep you nice and warm and rock you back and forth as they sing you a chittering tune

I want the world to change in a fun way. "Only the copyright owner can make a real iteration in a series." If that rule was eliminated then fan games would be treated as equally 'real' as 'real games' with the same weight of importance. News headlines about a game where you can play as 'Vampire Birdo'. A distant cousin's instincts about game design matter as much as a skilled designer with many years of experience working for a company that has made millions of dollars in sales -- maybe 'wrong', but it's fun. So why not? Because we could no longer answer the question, "who is really 'Mario' if anyone can make a Mario game?" Then he becomes kind of a folktale in society. I'd like that. If someone gets scared at a violent interpretation, you could explain that Mario's cruelty or kindness is dependent on the heart of the game's creator, or perhaps he was just in a violent world at the time. Similarly, at the movie theatre, I would like to see someone's home videos put on the big screen -- independent stop-motion Lego movie, maybe.
