i drew way more than i wrote last week, so i was pretty created out. this week though i didn't feel like working on my main WIP, but there was a whumpy idea that turned out a lot more gentle than i had plotted it, but also i may just be comparing it to the other more horrific hurt i've been reading.

had so much fun writing yesterday and was still aching for more, so i edited a bit today (fixing errors, adding details) and then ended up writing a little bit more :>

May is the 2nd most total time and the least total words so far. i'm glad i'm tracking minutes now because editing takes time and energy and i need the record to reflect my effort.

but with "Tomorrow may bring roses" totally posted! no more holistic editing til part 2 is complete (uvu)

okay so technically the additions to the final chapter of Cass + Jason is complete, but i want to read the whole chapter with a fresh mind before i go posting. then i can focus on part 2 and uh, maybe 3 or spinoffs. who knows askjslkj

last week i edited part 1 of my Cass+Jason story (Don't Despair) and began posting, and today i edited what i have of part 2 and transferred my notes there so i can easier write the next bits. part 2 is an extremely different tone than part 1, but that is why i split them. overall, excited :>

okay so we failed the secret third goal of "no 0 any week!" however, considering that i [check journal] had three turtle days and my first shift in a new volunteer position and described the week as "depression -> exhaustion" ... i think it's fine akjdjahg this weekend though is 4 days long and i really needed to write, finished [redacted], and shared with the only person who also for sure needed it [satisfied]

technically 5 was written in the middle of the WIP half, so i will say in the past year i have become a fan of writing And-But first statements while previously i've been doing action first sentences. except 7, but that WIP is consciously processing trauma so it's exempt
