Can you do the reverse hurt comfort where the reader walks in on them crying but for the love and deepspace boys?
Here you go and apologies for it coming out so late! I have had no will to write and have had so many things happen to me, but I am back now!
Zayne: He is normally one to hide his emotions indefinitely. However, he wasn’t aware that you were home when he broke down. He sat in your shared room, face in his hands, shoulders shaking, and soft, quiet sobs leaving his lips. You have never seen him like this before. Carefully, you make your way into the room, sitting next to him. “You alright Zayne?” You asked, keeping your voice soft and gentle. Zayne lifts his head and looks at you with red eyes.
“It’s too much Y/n. It's all too much for me.” His voice is weak, rough sounding from crying. “Can’t do what my love?” You ask, placing your hand in his. Zayne’s hand intertwines with yours. “Balancing work, you, and sleep. I’m scared you'll leave me because I’m not giving you the attention that I know you deserve. I’m scared that you’ll leave me because I work too much.” Zayne says, pulling his hand from yours and covering his face again. You feel your heart break at his honest answer.
“Baby, I would never leave you. Never. I know how hard you work and I’m so proud of you. I could never grow tired of you. Not even close. I love you more than anything and I am willing to stay right here and watch you do what you love. I love watching you grow and have fun in your realm. When you’re happy, I’m happy.” You say, taking his hand again and pressing a kiss to his knuckles. His eyes brighten slightly before a gentle smile appears on his face. “Thank you baby.” He whispers.
Rafayel: He’s already dramatic but he's a loud dramatic. So imagine your surprise when you come home to the house silent, not a single thing is heard. You walked to the bedroom to find Rafayel sitting in silence, staring out the window. His eyes are slightly hollow, and dull. “Raf? What’s wrong hon?” You ask softly, setting your things down and sitting next to him. Rafayel looks at you with a sad look. “Am I dramatic?” He asks, his voice cracking slightly. Your eyes widen at his words before you take his hands in yours.
“You can be a little dramatic at times but that adds to your charm. Did someone say something negative about it?” You ask. Rafayel nods his head before laying his head in your lap. “I was talking about a painting at the museum and was gesturing about like I normally do, but this woman came up to me and started lecturing me about not being so dramatic over art. That it's just something someone came up with and placed in a frame. Said something about me not needing to be so over dramatic about a simple painting.” Rafayel says, turning to curl into your stomach.
Your hands card through his purple hair with gentle movements. His eyes begin to close. “She had no right telling you that. She was just a miserable old woman who couldn’t understand how you express your excitement. She was so annoyed with the fact that you were happier at a museum than anything and just wanted to ruin your day. Don’t forget that I love listening to you become dramatic as you talk about something you love. You had every right to be happy.” You say, still carding your fingers through his hair. Rafayel smiles softly. “Thank you Y/n, you always know how to make me feel better.” He says, nuzzling closer to you, happy and content.
Xavier: He’s been the silent one even in your relationships. But this time, he openly avoided you. He didn’t want you to see him staying up to cry when something went wrong, or when someone said something to him that was hurtful. He bottled it all up and tried to do his best to hide it from you. But you were smart and always saw through it. “Baby, what’s going on? You're quieter than normal.” You ask one night during dinner.
Xavier tries to keep it bottled up but eventually tells you everything. It breaks your heart to see him so down like he is right now. You do everything in your power to make sure that he is ok. You hold him tightly, run your fingers through his hair, telling him how amazing he is to you, how you wouldn’t be where you are if it wasn’t for him. You tell him how in love you are with him and how much you need him in your life. His eyes start to tear up as he listens to your words.
“Do you mean all of that?” He asks, still worried that you are only saying that to make him stop crying and to perk up. “Yes Xavier, I mean it. I want you to be happy again. Ignore the people that are trying to make you feel less. They have no idea what you are going through. They don’t know how special you are to me, or how special I am to you. They don’t need to understand that. Just like they don’t need to tell you how to feel.” You say taking his hand in yours.
Sylus: He is always cocky, will crack jokes when things don’t go his way. But right now, he was silent, staring off into space. You moved over to him, after placing the groceries on the table. “Sylus, you ok?” You ask, but you already know the answer. You take his hand in his and hold it tightly. “What happened love?” You ask, trying to get an answer out of him. However, he just remained silent. On closer look, his bottom lip was trembling and his hands were clenched. He was never vulnerable with his men or anyone outside of just you and him.
I turn to face him fully. “Tell my Sylus. What happened?” You urge. Sylus remains silent for a moment longer before he turns to you. “It’s gotten to be too much. Trying to be a boss, take care of the city I rule, and make time for just you and me. It's burning me out.” Sylus answers honestly. “Oh sweetheart.” You whisper, holding your arms open for him. You watch this massive man fall into your open arms and cling to you like a cat. He keeps you close to him while he takes deep breaths to calm down. Your right hand rubs his back while you left hand cards through his hair.
“It’s alright Sylus. I’m here. Everything is going to be ok. “ You whisper softly. You start to hum, knowing that’s what calms him down the most. You can feel Sylus relaxing into your arms as you hum. His eyes closing and his heart rate relaxing to a more comfortable beating pattern. A soft smile appears on your lips as you watch him finally calm down and sleep. “Rest my love. You deserve it now.” You whisper while you stay right where you are.You end up falling asleep along with Sylus. The night passes peacefully, Sylus curled up against your chest with his arms wrapped around your waist refusing to let you go. You were his comfort. You were the reason that he keeps going.
Caleb: Caleb is a very reserved man when certain occasions arise. But right now, he’s way too quiet for your liking. He keeps wringing his hands, his eyes darting around. He jumps at every noise. It breaks your heart watching it happen from the kitchen. You finish making dinner and gently place the plate in front of him, making sure it doesn’t make noise. You sit next to him and slowly begin to eat. “Caleb, please eat something? You haven’t eaten anything in two days. I’m worried.” You whisper. Caleb looks at you with soft but slightly terrified eyes.
“What’s wrong?” You asked, worried about the way his eyes held so much terror. Caleb reaches for your hands and holds them tightly. “I just….I feel like I’m not doing enough for you. I feel like I’m falling apart and can’t catch up fast enough to take care of you anymore. Like I’m going to lose you at one point in time and I can’t take that. I can’t lose you. Not when you are my everything and not when you are the one that makes me feel whole. Promise me you will never leave me.” He says, turning to face you. You feel your heart break at his pain.
“Caleb, I would never leave you. That’s not who I am. I could never leave you alone. You are my everything too. I love being with you. You are so caring and gentle. You are protective of me and I love it. You are the reason that I get up and go to work. You are the reason that I can smile as big as I do. You take care of me in your own way, that's what matters to me.” You say, taking his hands in yours and holding them tightly. You both sit in silence for a while before you finally see the corners of his mouth turn up in a shy but happy smile. “You mean it? You won’t leave me when I have my shortcomings?” He asks.
“I promise on my everything. Your shortcomings do not define you Caleb. What defines you is how you fix yourself up from those shortcomings and how you deal with them later down the road. I know that whatever happens in the future with you and I is what is supposed to happen. I believe that the both of us can get through these things no matter what. Hard things, tough things, we are going to be just fine. You and I are strong together.” You say laying your head on his shoulder. “I love you Caleb, don’t forget that” You say. Caleb leans his head to lay on yours. His fingers intertwined with yours. “I won’t forget. Thank you.” He whispers.
