Chapter Two: Ι΄α΄α΄‘ Κα΄Ι’ΙͺΙ΄Ι΄ΙͺΙ΄Ι’s

Setting: Shibuya Bijutsu Academy β¨ main entrance
Four months ago from now, Kanade got accepted to Bijutsu Academy β Shibuya's most recommended & expensive art school in all of Japan! She walked up to the main entrance, wearing her new well-ironed uniform, she's so excited!! Getting to meet new people, befriending them, improving her art, even more! Kanade began walking around the school, taking in the incredible scenery & decorations the hallway has, until she bumped into someone.. Kanade grunted before looking down & held out her hand for them to grabβ"I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I'm walking.. Are you okay?" She asked as she stares at the person, "I'm fine, no worries!" The person reassured before grabbing Kanade's hand & stood up, she looked at her before speaking, "Huh.. I've never see you here before, are you new?" "Yes, I'm new. I'm Yoisaki Kanade." "Kanade? Your name suits you! I'm Shinonome Ena, pleasure meeting you!" Ena introduced herself, extending her hand for Kanade to shake. She took her hand & shook it gently, "So Ena.. Mind helping me where, uhm.. Class 2C is?" Kanade asked, awkwardly scratching her neck. "2C? Oh!βyou're in my class! C'mon, I'll show you where it is!" Ena happily explained before grabbing Kanade's arm & dragging her there, Kanade tried to protest but stayed quiet as she drags her.
Setting: Shibuya Bijutsu Academy β¨ Class 2C
"And here's our classroom!" Ena said, guiding Kanade inside. She looked around, noticing the other students doing their own thingβwhether it's chatting someone, drawing, being themselves.. Kanade was surprised. "Woah.. There's a lot of people here-!" "Yep! There are 40 students per classroom.. If you want, I can help you introduce yourself to everyone?" Ena offered with a soft smile. Kanade smiled back; "I appreciate the offer, Enaβbut I'm capable of introducing myself." She chuckled, Ena just let her before going to her seat. Their advisor walked inside, noticing Kanade before smiling. "Ah, I supposed your the new student, yes?" "Mhm, I'm the new student." Kanade nodded. "I see. Well thenβintroduce yourself to the class!" The teacher said, encouraging Kanade to speak up. She took a deep breath before introducing herself to the class, her classmates stayed quiet as they listen. Some murmured how shy & awkward Kanade was but didn't mind. After introducing everyone, their advisor began listing down basic rules & etiquette that must be followed in their class, submitting assessments on time, bring the needed art materials, etc. The students nodded & took note of it.
Setting: Shibuya Bijutsu Academy β¨ main exit
Classes have ended, students were heading home while others stayed to do extra curricular activities or study in the library. Ena & Kanade were talking as they strutted their way to the exit door, as they walkβEna's phone suddenly rang. She had a call from her brother before answering it. "Oi, are you going home yet?" "I'm almost out, why?" "Eh, just asking since dad is worried that your classes might've extended without telling him again." "Ah! Well, tell him that I'm leaving now.. I was just with a friend." "Alright, alright.. Stay safe, okay?" "I will, you too." Their call ended, Kanade was just awkwardly listening to their call before clearing her throat. "So.. Who was that?" "My brother, don't worry abt it." Ena reassured, Kanade nodded in understanding. "But what's with the extended classes? Are those normal here?" "Hm? OhβI wouldn't say normal.. Classes extending is most likely due to school holidays & we need to rush behind our materials. It's just a frequent thing happening, Kanade. You'll get used to it once it starts." Ena chuckled. "Well, gotta get going nowβtake care!" She waved before leaving, Kanade did the same.
Setting: Shibuya Crossing β¨ metro train
Kanade was walking to the metro station, taking the train back home to her area. As she was finding a seat, she spotted an available one next to a hooded man. When Kanade sat down, she let out a small noise of surprise as she felt what feels like.. a bag filled with cans underneath her? The person who's the owner of the said-bag places it on the floor, muttering out a small "sorry", Kanade chuckled awkwardly before actually sitting down. The man glances at her before noticing her uniform. "So.. Bijutsu Academy?" He spoke up all of the sudden, Kanade almost flinched when he spoke but let out a shaky exhale. "Y-yep-!" silence.. ".. Why? Do you use to attend there?" "Hm.. Dropped out before graduation." He shrugged, Kanade was.. Confused, but let it slide. The train eventually stopped at her station, she was abt to leave before looking back at the stranger. "May I.. Know your name? Not for creepy purposes, of course-!" Kanade reassured nervously, he hummed before answering. "Akito. Though.. You'll mostly see me around." He said, she nodded before stepping out of the train. Akito watches her walk out, his suspicions rising slightly.. It's like he'd saw her before.. But where?
Eventually, Kanade went back home. Her parents were already preparing dinner as she arrived, she went to her room to change into her pajamas before heading to the kitchen to help her parents prepare their food. But she does wonder.. Has she met him before..? Who knows..
