what were you expecting?
Pierce shrugs, before falling on his bed.
"Nothing really. Just felt bad."
Pierce appears in the office. He shakes, looking at Puppeteer. "Hey..."
She shifts, lifting the orb off her desk and depositing it back in her desk drawer before raising a brow. "Speak."
Pierce shifts, frowning deeply.
"Look. I'm sorry that I acted the way I did. I don't know what came over me. I just got so angry..."
Pierce sighs, stepping back.
"I don't expect anything from this. I just wanted to say that I am sorry for yelling at you."
She doesn't seem particularly impressed, just watching him with a bored expression on her face. "Is that all?"
Pierce sighs, pushing some of his hair back.
"Basically yeah. But if you could send me back home that'd be swell too."
She waves a hand towards the door, magic flickering briefly. "Go back home, little boy."
Pierce sighs, shoving a hand in his pocket.
"Yeah. Thanks for listening."
Pierce forces a smile, before going through the door.

*shrug* m!a pierce appears in puppeteers office
Pierce blinks and he's gone.
we can use m!as dude
"You can. I can't."
*shrug* you won't know unless you try i guess
"I can't exactly get there..."
pembis
Pierce snorts at that, smiling whole rolling his eyes.
yo someone said you needed to talk to a certain demon? but I haven't seen anything about it here?
Pierce shrugs once.
"I would like to talk to someone... But I doubt she wants to see me."
Pierce leans on Phantom's office door. He smirks, watching him work.
"We need to get you a phone."
Phantom jumps, quill scrapping across parchment. He looks up at him, frowning once.
"They'll only go out of fashion."
"Well, so did quills and ink. Come on. I'll drive."
._._.
Phantom shifts in the store. He doesn't like the bright lights and silver surfaces.
"Phantom. Get over here. You're paying."
"And why am I paying?"
"You're in business and I'm in college."
Phantom rolls his eyes, before fishing out a wallet and pulling out cash.
._._.
Pierce laughs, watching Phantom attempt to use the phone. He leans back, smiling as Phantom taps at the screen.
"Make sure you charge it while you sleep."
Pierce shoves Phantom's shoulder, before jumping over the couch to his room.
"Ask questions when you have them!"
The Wedding
There’s idle chatter in the air. Wind blows through the trees. The officiant stands in front, a plain black suit. Fabric flowers wrap around the white chairs, blue orchids mixing with red roses on green vines.

Pierce rolls onto his side. He stares at the clock on his phone, sighing deeply.
University is coming up again soon. His last semester.
Pierce exhales with a shake, setting his phone down.
One more semester.
He can do this.
Phantom guides Pierce to his bed, laying him down as he looks over him.
"She has it now. I'm sorry I could keep it safe."
Phantom shakes his head, as Pierce groans loudly.
"I shouldn't have brought you into this. I shouldn't have made another stupid mistake."
Pierce looks up at Phantom, shaking his head.
"I'm glad you trusted me. Made me feel important."
Phantom huffs, sitting beside him on the bed.
"You've always been important to me. You're my youngest brother."
Pierce closes his eyes, curling into a pillow.
"Still. It meant a lot."
Phantom snorts weakly, smiling a little bit.
"Do you think I'll finally have a day where I don't do something wrong?"
Pierce shakes his head.
"You already have. You're becoming more human than you know."
"I put my demon powers away, of course I'm more human."
"No, long before that. You fell in love, and you've been changed a lot since I first left."
Phantom looks down, rubbing his hands.
"I guess."
Pierce lightly hits Phantom's leg.
"No guessing. I'm proud of you for showing emotions beyond anger."
Phantom smiles to himself, before standing slowly.
"Get some rest. Fire really burns your energy."
"I swear if that was a pun."
"Sleep. I'll try to bring breakfast in the morning."
"Love you, big bro."
Phantom smiles, before leaving Pierce's room.
*cough*and he could try to not piss her off*cough*
Pierce looks up at you before closing his eyes.
Pierce appears in the office, flames instantly spreading around him. He breathes heavily, scrambling away only for flames to follow.
She blinks, pushing to her feet and throwing a hand out to the side to cast a spell so the fire doesn't catch anywhere. "Pierce Battle, calm yourself before you burn yourself alive." There's no subtle suggestion here; it's a straight up command.
@stressed-natepai
Pierce's body stills, orange tears sliding down his face. The flames don't recede, but do stop growing.
"Help."
She steps around the desk, heeled boots clicking sharply against the floor as she moves closer before kneeling in front of him. "You want me to take the magic from you?"
"It's not mine. It's my brother's. I don't trust you with it..."
"I can't do anything to help you unless you let me take it."
Pierce backs away.
"You'll hurt him."
"Why would I hurt the man that owns my daughter's soul?" She crosses her arms, stepping back to lean against her desk. "If you'd prefer burning up from magic that belongs to someone else, however..."
Pierce shakes his head, squeezing it.
"He wouldn't. He wouldn't."
She raises a brow. "I can show you the memory, if you wish. Quite frankly, I'm a tad amazed you're this naïve still. Demons tend to prey on the weak, darling. Now, would you like my help or not?"
Pierce looks up at her, shaking wildly.
"Why can't you just leave him alone? He's getting married. He doesn't come here willingly. Why do you rile him every time? He wouldn't threaten your daughters. If you just tried to be polite to him."
She crosses her arms, eyes narrowing. "Both times he's been here, he attacked me first, the second time without provocation. The first time he wouldn't let me leave to comfort my daughter, who was terrified of the noise from the fight. And while I may rile people up, I don't force them to stay here or attack me. Have you never wondered why he didn't just leave, hmm? Now do you want me to help you or not."
Pierce screams, flames whipping up around him.
"You bitch. He just had his daughter kidnapped and you implied that it was on purpose. He has anger issues and you used that against him."
She raises a brow, flicking a hand. "Calm yourself and take a seat." No simple suggestions were being used today, it seemed, only flat out commands.
Pierce growls, deep from his throat. He pushes himself up, moving to the chair.
"I'm done with the little games, darling." She taps her arm for a moment, watching him sit down. "You do not get to tell me what to do in my home. You are a human with power that doesn't belong to you. And, quite frankly, you should show at least an iota of respect for the demon that took care of your little problem. Accept my help."
Pierce growls, staring her down.
"Fine."
She paces forward, never looking away even as she presses one clawed finger against his forehead, magic flaring as she pulls Phantom's magic out of the human. Then she steps back, swiping a glass ball from her desk and slipping the magic inside. Then she drops it into one of her desk drawers, crossing her arms again. "If you want to keep on living, I would recommend not challenging me like that, little human."
Pierce glares at her, before slumping over, exhausted.
She raises a brow, then points towards the door, where there's a brief flash of magic. "Get out of my office, little boy. And tell your brother that if he wants his magic back he'll need to come get it himself."
Pierce stands slowly, making his way out of the office.
"You could try. Just once to not piss him off."
Pierce moves through the door, returning to his room.
I'd be careful dude. She could kill you pretty easily if she wanted to.
Pierce glares at you.
"She really wouldn't want to do that."
Pierce appears in the office, flames instantly spreading around him. He breathes heavily, scrambling away only for flames to follow.
