You may have noticed this blog has been kinda dead lately. I am planning on revamping Kendra, for multiple reasons.
In Mainverse, a lot will change, Her name, job, and some of her personality. So if you want to know how that affect our characters´ relationship, shoot me and ask please?
In BDSMvale and Strippervale, she´ll stay mostly the same except for her name, so relationships in those verses are gonna stay as well.

"Do I?" Kendra looked up for her laptop. "I´m a little tired I suppose." She tried to look cheerful. "But of course that´s no reason not to smile is it?"
"Well, I was selected young." Kendra shrugged. "Close enough I suppose. And then, you know special classes, the enhanced development shots. The usual." She gave Cleo a crooked smile. "I´m really not as different or special as some people make me out to be."
Kendra narrowed her eyes while she thought. “Made for the job, do you mean bioengineered?”
"Nothing that scientific, no." Cleo shook her head. "It was only a saying." At least it appeared that way. Cleo had many jobs before but her current job was probably her favorite of them all.
"Oh I don’t know about that." Cleo smirked slightly. "I don’t know many others who underwent such developments to get where you are today.”
"Really? You must have worked very hard to achieve such productivity without early intervention." Kendra smiled sweetly, and gave no overt indication that the remark was meant to be anything but complimentary. "How did your education go then?"

"Fair warning; I highly doubt there is any city that can compare to Desert Bluffs." In what aspect she didn’t say, but the way Cleo said it…it was hard to say it it was sarcasm or a genuine answer.
The secretary arched a brow at the question. Or more rather the tone it was delivered. “California. Sun’s a lot warmer over there.”
"Warmer than here in the desert? That must be hard to deal with sometimes."
Well, Cleopatra wasn´t stupid, but that was a given. She would not have the job she had without some intelligence. Kendra had to suppress a pleased smirk. This sort of game was always much more fun with a competent opponent.
"So, how´d you get to be working at Strex? Corporate takeover, or did you apply?"
"Living close to a body of water one could swim in helped quite a bit." Cleo deadpanned. However internally she was intrigued with Kendra. Or at least with the way she was trying to dig up information on her from her.
"You could say I was made for the job." Cleo rested her chin in her hand. "How about you? I had heard the same about you."

I have, in fact, done a version of Kendra in a little HP verse RP once.

Because Harry Potter is a wonderful sandbox of a Universe.
If Yes, flesh the idea out some.
Everyone, including herself, was surprised that Kendra ended up in slytherin, being only a halfblood. (Oh but WHAT an other half) She also does not seem the crafty cunning Slytherin type, being mostly like the Kendra of BDSMvale, but the potential is still there.

Kendra is half muggle and half magical creature.

Name: Artemis Cortez-Blackwood
Gender: Ambiguous due to the whole half shadow creature thing.
General Appearance: Pale brown skin, wavy black hair, brown eyes with black scelra, round face and somewhat doll-like. Tends to wear aprons like their papa.
Personality: Quiet, solemn. Artemis would measure everything mentally before acting. Play becomes a bit esoteric, trying to puzzle out the workings of magic and cooking and works. Likes to play with the sound of words, rhyming and punning and melody.
Special Talents: They don’t consider the shadow-stuff abilities to be anything special, as their mother does it much better. But they certainly impress (and scare) friends with it.
Who they like better: Sereno, mostly because he is the primary caregiver and translator when Kendra is having issues articulating her awkward affection. While they admire their mother, she… isn’t exactly the closest thing. But at least she comprehends the shadows, far better than their papa.
Who they take after more: Sereno’s little brother that Kendra really hasn’t met. (… who entered the seminary the last Sereno heard of him.)
Personal Head canon: Has seriously considered taking Holy Orders just to tell their mother that it’s Nun of her business. Sereno disapproved of this.
