wow okay so i've been thinking about drugs and like okay so the first time dave drops acid he's obviously with bro and probably like 17 or s/t i mean, the first time he does anythinghe's with bro because bro is like that parental figure that's like "if you're going to do drugs you're doing them with me"

so like bro goes out of his way to hook him up, and he gives it to him in a sippie cup full of milk to stress the fact that dave is still his KID and that's not going to change alright?

so dave drinks it all with a roll of his eyes and sits there for half an hour like i don't feel shit bro shouldn't we play something weird  but then it starts to hit him like real slow, things start going fuzzy, air feels heavy, things are blurring together bro's not bro anymore and everything's different nut everything is the same.  and god dave does the cliche, "hooooly shit i think im feeling it" and bro just sighs and keeps him contained to the living room while dave wanders around and feels shit and occasionally stares fixedly in one spot like there's something there 

eventually when his high gets to be too much and the numbers start swirling around the clock and his vision turns into a multicolored vortex he just closes his eyes and seeks out bro and bro like obliges him and settles on the could with dave mumbling incoherent things and squirming in his lap dave's partially convinced bros lap is a waterslide  keeps moving because he doesnt like the water and it takes bro saying his name like a dozen times before he finally comes out of it finally like chills and tries to get a grasp on who he is and where he is

i figure he'd totally half assedly proposition bro too like "yanno you should touch me all over and stuff" forgets about it an instant later and leaves bro forwning at him and wondering if this was a good idea

but daves off on another tangent already and talking without using words and bro just strokes his hair and keeps a hold on him whenever he starts twitching out to calm him. reminds himself that dave probably would have done it anyway, it's better that he was here for it. kind of idly wishes his first experience with anything at all had been with someone who gave two shits about protecting him like he does take

i can just imagine like when dave was a little kid he absolutely refUSED to take a shower and would only ever take baths

like whenever bro would try to force him into the shower he would kick and scream and scratch and scream some more and jerk and cry until bro gave up and took a bath with him (he was super paranoid that dave was gonna drown somehow if he just left him in there alone????)

and so like through out the years he amassed an arsenal of bath toys ranging from rubber duckies to tiny water guns

and like when dave moves out and junk when he's 19 and totally responsible mature grown up fuck off bro i can fend for myself - bro ends up finding the box of bath toys

he runs a bath and dumps ALL the toys in there and sits in the water thinking about that days when dave was just a little shit instead of a GIANT DOUCHEBAG

(he calls dave later that night to taunt him into visiting)

hrrrrrhghgh i just wanna play dave as this sTUPID little shit that doesn't know how to handle his emOTIONS OR ANYTHING and is generally AKWARD AND BAD AT ANYTHING HE TRIES TO DO because he just wants to IMPRESS but hide away at the same time frick everything

I just think that more than anything, Dave would have the hugest inferiority complex to bro???

like bros this taller, bigger, better looking (totally subjective dave jfc) and generally cooler person and Dave feels like he’s constantly hovering in his shadow no matter what he does

so like I figure he not only gets really happy, but also gets really surprised when bro acknowledges him for something he’s done right or well

and it morphs into this incessant desire to win bros approval no matter what he needs to do to get it

but he generally sabotages himself most of the time because he doesn’t feel like he’s good enough to get bro to approve of him

it’s generally a really bad pattern of Dave never getting anywhere because he doesn’t feel like he deserves to and bro just cruising along and taking advantage of it when he gets bored
