In the midst of the Unstable Universe trenches (read: halfway through the first of Spoke's four four-hour videos in a row) and it is so funny to me that. The one that ended with Spoke himself getting trapped in a chunkban for [???] length of time?

As far as I'm concerned it takes a very special case to tap out of a period cramp simulator before experiencing any simulated cramps, so at least I have that going for me

Specifically what happened was that the vibrations or whatever it is that happens as the simulator moves up a level hit me so hard that I had to tap out during the transition to level 4. The cramps themselves were so mild I couldn't tell they were there but it felt like I was being flayed. Still felt like that for the rest of the day.

Anyway I bring this up because I have another opportunity to try the simulator today and I'm not sure whether I'm trying to talk myself into it or out of it.

This screenshot is from a while ago; I'm currently on Doomsday. Every time someone starts acting like they've defeated the mafia I go to check the runtime. It's happened like three times and there's still over an hour to go.

I'm in favour of people getting weird with pronouns, but nobody gets grammatically weird enough with pronouns. You can mess around with the declensions if you want. Yeah, my pronouns are 'she/she'. That's right, I don't have an accusative form. I refuse to be an object, direct or otherwise.

Apparently you can lock yourself out of Act 2 stuff in Silksong which I was not aware of until (checks notes) 90+ hours in at the gates of the void with four disembodied hearts. So now I need to figure out if I'm more okay with missing an unknown amount of the game on my first run or rolling back like a third of my save

#if I can't 100% without rolling back I think I have to. if I can maybe I'll do another run for them #silksong #silksong spoilers
