MegaSculpture 1/25 EOS Smart Daughter (with Dr Pepper for Scale)

i absolutely love love love arata and his designs. he is my favourite mechanical designer by FAR, everything he's designed and produced has just jived with me in a way nothing else really has!

i picked this up along with a bunch of FORM series rabbit void gachas over a year ago and only just now got around to building it, it was quite a fun little build! at this scale, it is the second smallest thing i've ever built (with the smallest being a 1/380 Gelgoog from the Cup Noodle collab), it only consists of maybe 30ish parts, but it makes great use of them.

i absolutely love the shape, the design just flows in a way only arata can pull off. i'm thinking about turning this thing into Cream and one of the larger rabbit voids into Vanilla to pair with her, i figure it'd be cute :)

as an aside, if anyone knows where i can get more arata/megasculpture kits/figures, hit me up, because i'd KILL to have some more, especially if its an original gk or artpiece!

HG 1/144 gMS-Ω GQuuuuuuX

i gotta say i was blown away when GQuX was first revealed, it was super refreshing to see genuinely unique gundam design even for the main gundam, and at that point i decided i was going to get every kit they released from GQuX. this remains the only GQuX kit i actually have, unfortunately, because i have a rather massive backlog i need to get through before i actually commit to buying any more

nonetheless, this kit is incredible. the articulation, design, colour separation, and accessories are all just astounding, especially for the price i paid for it. in spite of its razor thin feet it has no issue staying upright and even on one foot its more stable than some of my kits with ultrawide feet. its absurd!

the only thing i'd argue is an actual issue with the kit is the stickers provided for the red striping on the gqux itself which are uh. abysmal, honestly? i hate them. i don't think there's much else they could've done in that regard though so i'll just have to get some waterslides eventually

highly recommend this kit especially if you're fond of the more esoteric design language the series brings to the table-- i know i sure am

1/100 MBF-P05LM2 Gundam Astray Mirage Frame 2nd Issue 

this was BY FAR one of my most wanted kits and i finally got my hands on it (at a reasonable price!....4x retail!) about a month ago. one out of several dozen rare kits marked off the list!

overall its a very good kit for its age barring the hands being... 1/100 SEED hands, yknow? the articulation is real good and the overall detail is great, real fun build!

the design isn’t for everyone but its easily one of my favorite Astray designs and seen as this is the only kit we have of it, you know i had to have it. now i just have to hunt down the mirage 1st so i can make the mirage 3rd!

HGAC OZX-GU01A Gundam Geminass 01

yet another mobile suit design i absolutely love (especially the HGAC redesign), the G Unit kits need more love than they get. it has its issues but overall in the end it just looks SO damn good that i don’t care too much. also, i love how the shield was handled with this kit.

need to get my hands on the HGAC Geminass 02 & Aesculapius next, plus another couple of Geminass 01s, the Geminass option parts and two sets of Geminass 02 option parts for a custom... hmmm

finished up this kit a few weeks back, i fucking love powered gm. i need to get my hands on the MG if bandai would actually bother to reissue the damn thing
