Well I suppose it's difficult to work out because we dont have many examples of married couples

Ghira and kali - we have no idea who took who's name

Saphron and Terra - combined their names

Willow and jacques - jacques specifically married willow for her name so its possible he wouldve taken her name either way

Either way, the possibility of "Raven xiao long" makes me very happy

Qrow wasn’t the first Branwen twin to be poisoned. 

On a mission back in their Beacon days, Team STRQ ran into a lot more trouble than they’d expected. It was only a trial run- an outing to truly test their teamwork. It was designed to be safe, simple, and straightforward. But, someone sneaking into their way was not part of the plan.No one knew who the person was, not even the teachers. Thinking back, Qrow wonders if there is a possibility that it was Tyrian, but he highly doubts that. He frowns. Raven hadn’t deserved it. At least, back then she hadn’t.

They’d been searching a cave for their objective, and there had been a point when the enclosure forked out in two different directions. The team had decided to split in their partnerships, and so Summer and Tai went one way, and Qrow and Raven went the other. The cave was quiet, but the two twins hadn’t wanted to risk missing anything, so they’d been silent during the whole trek. Raven’s hand was constantly on the handle of her sword, ready to attack at a moment’s notice.
