i'm stella, she/her, 30s, south asian, discourse-free!

i'm a chronic muser and idea dumper. i love writing, it's my biggest joy in life and i love sharing my fanfic and discussing it with people who enjoy them! i have various fictional interests, but aot is my primary one. aside from that, i like asoiaf, star wars, and various books. aside from that, i am a lover of medieval history and love combining my interests.

my blog is dedicated to fanfiction and aus. i prefer to keep it about writing, aus, and general fun.

i love talking about people's ideas and having fun. i do write requests when i have time. i do dabble in other ships from time to time if the request is there.

this blog is my safe space. i created this space to talk about the things i love, to vent, and ramble. i tag everything but i cater this blog to myself and myself only. outside of writing fanfic, i no longer actively participate in fandom. i don't want to know the latest discourse or what people are saying. i just want to write my fics.

I haven’t been answering asks and I feel really fucking bad about it because truth is I didn’t want to until I updated but I’m going to be honest:

I’m struggling with writing this chapter. I have been literally writing and rewriting this one scene over and over again for days because I cannot get it to where it needs to be.

I literally have an outline on where all this needs to go but if I’m being honest you guys? it’s hard. so I’m sorry for setting deadlines and missing them. because the truth is, I just sort of hit a wall with this chapter and I’m still figuring out how to climb over it.

also, not sure if it would fit as warlady-like, but in my country we had a woman in the 19th century named maria quiteria which dressed and portrayed herself as a man to fight for brazil's independence in armed force

most of the armies in warlord are men (i guess?) even if we do have women, and mikasa is fighting for freedom so👀 not a medieval lady but one you might like?

so…where am I going with mikasa in warlord?

so I think it’s time to discuss warlord Mikasa and the women who’ve influenced her over the course of me writing this fic.

so naturally, at first, mikasa was just based on a combination of furiosa and angharad from mad max: fury road.

but after what happened in 2023, it caused me to rethink exactly what i wanted from mikasa’s character in this story. did i just want her to drown in this life or did i want her to swim, be proactive, take power despite her own reservations and her love for eren.

so! in late 2024, I started reading historical nonfiction pretty regularly and I found that there were a few women that I wanted Mikasa to somewhat emulate while still keeping her own character. so here are some of the women and the wiki articles that are an introduction.

honestly the two pre-wedding ceremonies were just…kinda stressful and I don’t wanna get into it because it was really bad but luckily the actual day went fine

and it was outside yeah! there was an indoors area but by the evening the weather was so nice that everyone just stayed outside.
