Hullo I'm a trilingual individual with a healthy obsession of Hetalia, among other things. I enjoy writing, photography, reading (FFN and actual books), ice skating, going to the movies, food, traveling, and history. I'd like to someday enter a book store and see up on a shelf a novel that I wrote. That's what I want. I spend way too much time on FFN. Litigio judicial a la vista. Un despacho de abogados de Los Ángeles ha enviado un escrito de demanda a la cadena americana NBC y a Sony Pictures Televisión denunciando las extrañas semejanzas entre ‘El Ministerio del Tiempo’ y la serie ‘Timeless’, que está a punto de ser estrenada en Estados Unidos.

Por fin lo han hecho.

I suck at doing this kind of things, but I tried to basically sum up the similarities between TVE’s El Ministerio del Tiempo and NBC Timeless. The thing is: the American broadcaster was at some point interested on making their own (legit and paying the royalties, like they did with The Mysteries of Laura, adapted from a Spanish series) but decided to make what looks like a shameless rip-off without paying the royalties…  or so it seems for the moment. You can draw your own conclusions about the parallels here.
